No, harm. But go for 10w40, you'll have better cold starts. There'll be proper flow during cold morning starts.

It wont do any harm but better if you stick with recommended oil grade. IMO Fully synthetic oils are just waste for RTR as the oil change interval is close to 3K Kms. Better go for semi synthetic ones (Shell AX7 or Motul 5100 10w40). You can save money.

I think the powerband of the rtr lies within 5 to 8 rpm.. The power is so mad and so quick... Usually i ride below 80 but recently gone on 80 to 100 kmph.. Man its awesome.. I saw many people shifting gear to 5 so quickly.. 1,2,3,4 tak tak tak.. sounds like shifting in 2 or 3 rpm.. Is it good??? Should shift in 4,5 rpm na??? Pls enlighten me..

Its a bad practice, always shift gears around 4k rpm. Based only my riding experience, if you shift gears @2k-3k rpm, the bike really will not have that power at the top end. This usually happens to rider who come from commuter bikes like Splendors / Honda CB bikes.

Shifting gears at such low rpms will only cause more damage on the long term. First the compression would take a hit and the drive train. If these bikes are bought and ridden for the sake of mileage then i believe its plain stupidity.
I suggest shifting gears above 4000 rpm at the bare minimum. For better powerband throughout the gears anything above 5000 rpm is advisable. Plus its ideal for the rtr, be it 160 or the 180. Again redlining in the first gear is a strict No! Keep it under 5-6k rpm in the first gear and after that any upshift until redline is fun if you can handle the speeds. Prolonged running at redline is also not advisable. Short bursts till redlining from 2nd gear onwards can do wonders to the machine.
                My 2 cents!!!!

My RTR 180 just completed 1500 kms. Due for 2nd service. I am having a problem in finding the smooth gear shifting pattern. 1st to 2nd is always smooth as I won't go beyond 3K rpm. Now comes the problem, from 2nd to 3rd and further is always a problem. Some times subconsciously I make it smoothly, but sometimes when I look at RPM and then shift the gears only to have a hard pull. Sometimes it won't go from 2nd to 3rd at all.

Suggest me a best way to shift the gears. I tried to change it in different RPMs i.e @3K, 4K but still couldn't get it. May be after 2nd 3rd service ?

No way for 100/80 The rim size is to narrow,as the best is 90/90.

This used to happen to me as well on my GS. I hope you are shutting the throttle completely. The 3 actions: pulling in clutch lever, rolling off throttle and moving the shifter lever is near simultaneous. Any pause here or there for 1-2 seconds will result in shifting difficulties. The shifting happens when the throttle is still "rolling off". To mesh easily during upshifts, the gears in the box should not be accelerating or at constant speed. Yours is a new vehicle. Once oil is changed, clutch free play set and chain adjusted-lubed in 2nd service, things will get better. 4000-4500 rpm is a fine range to shift for those aiming good economy.

Go with zapper fs, never go with the michellin pilot sporty, its a worst tyre.
