    Guys Help me.

Whenever I ride on a pothole or speed breaker a little fast a click sound comes from front end (forks may be). my bike clocked 250 Kms.
    Anybody knows reason for this.

can u tell me the reason for this as i thought lower idle means more mileage

also i assume you are not having the engine jerking problem during cold starts like me...

          Lower idle RPM means:
          * Less oil flow.
          * Less power generated by the alternator.

Less oil flow means some parts of the engine might not get enough oil to protect them and can wear out you engine faster than it should.

Less power from the alternator can be a problem as your ignition and several other things are probably running on the battery voltage and thus could possibly drain your battery on a low idle setting.

Just set the idle RPM to the factory specified setting and you'll be fine.

The best one would be ZEN TVS near Bull Temple Road, but stay away from Neo TVS. Bharath TVS near Jaya Nagar is also a decent svc.

The hole you see in the exhaust is nothing but an orifice for drainage of the water/moisture. It also acts as a sort of breather for the exhaust to regulate pressure!!

                thanks nice and logical explanation
                just one more thing...
since there are two adjustments in carburetors fuel:air ratio and idle rpm screws how to know which one is which...because if u increase the fuel:air ratio also the rpm will increase...
should i do it or should i take it to the service center to avoid any warranty issues....

The one on the left side below the fuel knob is the idle RPM screw. It can be done by you easily, but make sure that the engine is warm enough before doing this.

The idle screw is the screw that adjusts the stop position of the throttle pulley. (The minimum opening of the throttle valve that is.) Mostly it's easily identified, since often it has a ridges on the head so you can turn it by hand.

The fuel/air adjustment is mostly hidden in an orifice on the carb and you'll need a screwdriver to change it.

                    • Mostly Playing With Both Adjustments Will Make it Tough to Get Factory Tuning ?Only Idle Screw to Be Adjusted.Other Factors Like Tappets ,Valve Clearances are things Which Can Be done during Free Services?

                        ^^True!!

Do not ever fiddle with the carb settings unless you really know what you are doing or someone who is more experienced in tuning!!

Adjust ur con sets from the service center while giving it for first servicing.. Also set ur back shocks to lower position for better shock absorption ..

                            • Help !

My bike (Black 180) is developing gradual scratches on the tank part.
I need a way to prevent these. Plz Help me !
The showroom owner insisted me not to go for Teflon Coat as acc. to him it affects the paint life.
So, What shall I do to prevent my bike from scratches ? I am quite confused.
