        Didn't you see mine?

        @badbikerboy

So they directly changed it.But in my case they fixed the needle back to the same position.Service guys there at your place are very kind and gentle but here it's just the opposite!
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

        • Hi all... I have a small problem here... I have this feeling that my bike has lost a bit of its initial pull that it used to have. Nowadays the bike feels so sedate while accelerating. Is it just that I am so used to the acceleration and it has lost its zing or is it me??? Have any of you had this problem of engine performance deteriorating over some time??? My bike has just done 1400 kms...

I have one suggestion... If you can stay away from your bike for two or three days.. (I know how difficult it is ) then take it for a spin.... after sometime we get used to the bike, hence everything seems to have gone down.... OR else, ask some friend who has ridden your bike earlier to take it for a spin and ask his comments....

            • I have a question for fellow 180 owners.... Have any of you tried premium fuels like Speed 91, Xtra Premium etc? And have you found any increase/decrease in performance ???? I tried both the above, and though I could not make out any change in performance, the mileage dropped drastically... when I used to get 40kmpl consistently with normal petrol, with these it dropped to 35, 33 respectively!!! If there was a performance increase, then I wouldn't mind the drop.... but not w/o that.

Ur getting 40kmpl in normal petrol..
I just get 35 kmpl on normal petrol so sad..
I ride at a minimum of 60-80km speed..
                        Bit of harsh driving.

                        • I went to the service station yesterday to get my clutch setting done.. He did the setting, cleaned the pads and oiled the chain, footpegs and all.. now all of a sudden the bike feels smooth... So it definitely wasnt me... The bike does feel smoother after the clutch setting...

Hey Buddy, even I too faced same issue with my CBZ... I took him to the service center and cleaned the air filter now everything seems to be back and normal.

                            From my experience some suggestions:
-- Use same type of petrol don't mix it up.
-- I dont think fuels like Speed 91, Xtra Premium can give you any
performance gain. Stick to normal petrol.
-- After getting my air filter cleaned, first suggestion from the service
guys Change the Petro Pump. . Petrol is not good.
-- Always fill from good pumps get your colleagues/Friends suggestions...
Some bunks wont give you good petrol.

These points may be true..... But for me these are valid points

Dude, whats the relationship between type of fuel and air filter?
If something got clogged, it should be the fuel filter if any, petrol doesnt come in contact with air filter at any time.

Either the mechanic you met is a total noob who things petrol blocked the air filter or you misheard something.
Only effect on air filter is the dusty conditions that clog it early.
