  • Help

Guys.., please help me out. I'm moving out of the country and need to sell my <3000 KM run RTR 180 (in Pune). But everytime I post my ad in the buy/sell section, it accepts the ad without any problem, but does not display the ad.
Can someone point out what I'm doing wrong.
Also, there is no request for any payment for the ad. If there is a payment, how should we pay.

Sorry for posting it here, but didnt know where to ask for help.

      • got my first service done at 500km yesterday.

        1. got engine-gear oil changed along with oil filter (inr235.00)
        2. cleaned the oil drain nut, couldn't get the oil-sump mesh cleaned as the technician was reluctant even on asking him a few times.
        3. got the leg-guard changed.
        4. the left side tank-fairing wasn't in stock, so couldn't get them changed.
        5. the 'right-side-heavy' feeling also wasn't looked after. they said that all the RTR's have the same felling cause of the disk brakes' weight & all. can't that thing be negated by something? i find it difficult to ride it this way, may be its more of a psychological thing. bt i feel it when i am taking a corner or a turn, the vehicle readily goes-in for a right corner/turn but not the same for left corner/turn. it feels as if it wants to go staright! and to add to it, the pathetic tvs tires, i just can't throw my bike into corners, even at low speeds.
        6. rest the bike is doing good. getting an average of about 45-46kmpl.

Next time you take your bike for service, ask them to inspect the cone set. The bearings might not have been set properly. That is why you feel like the bike is pulling to a particular direction. It will be even more apparent when you leave both your hands while riding and the bike will feel as if it is pulling to a direction.

And the mileage is decent enough.

and rear 25 that was the problem befor that from some day i was just thinking that bike is not pulling well it was not giving 0to 60 below 4.5sec my best was 3.9 i tryd every thing even 6000 rpm start but no good responce i was thinking of going to svc for less accleration well bike was giving very good bump free ride and brakes were giving very good responce
but the problem is solve today problem was less air in tyres

                • RTR 180's electricals converted to full DC with boosted charging. Using a 55/60W H4 bulb now and there is still room for more. Illumination is as good as that of a P220's if not better.

                  • Hi guys

I bought a pearl white 180 on 9th june this month...

currently it is in the running in period and so i do not want to rush her more than 50 and compared to what the bike can do....a speed of 50 feels too slow...

but it is good as at this speed i can take a look at the surroundings.....also wanted to say that the bike is so sexy......i have seen people giving looks at her..and it feels so damn good....

but i made a very very stupid mistake and since after buying the bike i am having my exams...it had been kept standing for almost 5 days and when i took her out yesterday i didn't pay attention to the Tyre pressure and this resulted in a rear Tyre puncture...

so new bike owner please make sure u dont neglect the tyre pressure

i am attaching snaps that i took at home

Plz. upload wiring diagram or explain the wiring. You changed the regulator? how you managed to use both coils at a time?

Put the bike on centre stand with front wheel lifted and gently turn the handle left end to right end. check whether the operation is smooth. If it isn't smooth, try adjusting cables n all. If that also doesn't solve the problem, try running it with front wheel from another RTR (you can try it with mine). If you do not feel anything abnormal with different wheel, its the tire which is culprit.

First checking the air pressure once in three months is superbly bad idea, and second are you sure your front air pressure was still at 20 after 3 months?

The acceleration and avg will surely increase if you'll bump the pressure of the tires, but this comes at the price of bumpy ride and less traction, which is strict no no.

Fill front with 22-25 and rear with 28-32.

                          More tire pressure than recommended.
RTR is stiffly sprung, dont expect plush ride.

By Bumping, do you mean is it bouncing on rough roads when riding with pillion or the ride is harsh. Both the things have different reasons.

Try to play around with the shock absorber settings. And keep it in the medium i.e step 3.

By bumping i mean that when i ride alone or with a pillion on smooth roads,it feels as if d road is rough and the bike doesnt moves smoothly...My whole body keeps on shaking and i get a feeling as if i am riding on a road that is under construction.I dont know whats going wrong. Its surely should not happen and the bike should move butter smooth on good roads, but unfortunately, that is not the case !
