Look at the original IND-SUZUKI, i mean if you can still get it from somewhere, look at the finish of the chrome the bike had, if it was IND-TVS it would have been a diff story all together.
Most of the RTR's flaws may have been given a tag as the charaterictics, namely VIBRATIONS, MISSING IN THE FI, NOTCHY GEARBOXES, AND ROUGH ENGINE, but they are flaws.
And cuz of the above mentioned things my DAD hates to ride my bike cuz he was in habit of riding a smooth machine (FIERO), it's not cuz he was uncomfortable about the riding position or the ergonomics, it was just the engine and the gearbox that put him off.

Apart from it there are still many issues which should be sort out in RTR like the paint, specially in alloys and the engine section area,(FINS), digital speedo failture, one way clutch in the 180, swingarm rusting issues, battries plates going (mainly cuz of the vibrations) etc.
Even BAJAJ is coming up well with the new crop of PULSARS it's throwing to the market, my friends have 150's and 180's pulsar and even after 4 years of ownership nit a single issue of rusting was there.
This is where YAMAHA wins,it's charging more for the bikes line up it has, but on the quality and everything front it's unbeatable, why not INDIAN do the same thing if a japanese can do it??
Oh i forgot.....
"CHALTA HAI"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'am a hardcore RTR fan, but i'am also not happy about somethings of the bike...
