Coming down from P220, it;s the 180 which would satisfy you more.

I hope the Hyper edge makes it even more 'Hyper'!!

Btw, the latest issue of Bike India has a shootout of P220-S, R15 and RTR 180. The results would be interesting for sure. Anybody laid their hands on the issue, here?

1) Satisfaction in what sense ,Is it Riding it to service station every week end as a g2g with the service employees at bajaj.??
2) Or just planning to relish the fun and thrill of the bike and going on long trips.( btw the bike has just done 2k kms , that too mostly ridden to Svc station in the traffic)
3) or the awesome mileage of 15-20kmpl which i used to recieve even after riding it at 4k-5k rpm

amazing

guys i installed a new k&n to my bike n what an experience its givin me. plus it actually took away most f the vibes somehow. bikes pick-up is amazing now n its just more powerful. m loving it......

it flies

its like the bike had so much hidden power in it

Its as though you added one more engine... rite? hehe... One tip, clean the filter every 5k. Recommend you get it done by someone who handles them often. Clean using the recommended cleaning solution n all...

I should have been more clearer.I meant 180 will give you 'closer' to on-road performance when compared with P220.

Yeah just checked that on stands..Tried to read as much as possible and results were not pleasing for any RTR fan..

The track times are as follows:

RTR180--2:22:XX

P220---2:20:XX

R15--2:17:XX ...

It was quite predictable that the R15 will win,but I was expecting RTR to be faster than the P220!..

P220 DTSi has awesome top end, dude. It makes up most out of it in order to compensate it's iffy handling around the corners. Had it been P220 Fi then it would have been a different outcome.

Still,I expected it to be a lot more better..As there were more corners than long- straights!..

So what does it take to beat the R15?..Better top-end and grippy rubber..

on't know why but magazines in our country under-rate RTRs too much!..

R15 has fierce top-end thrust after 7k rpm. The timings seem a lil bit suspect to me. R15 will no doubt be faster but i think there shouldn't be more than 3 seconds difference between the 180 and the R15. I am not sure about the P220, though.
