I m interpreting your post as hyper edge has milder vibes than 180. So it that already confirmed..? And how the hell is that possible..? Can a mere sticker work iron out from a chasis its signature characteristics..?

went for a road trip, mostly had no roads n as a result ended up breaking my horn wire coz of bike goin up n down, decrease in tire pressure to 16ps from 32 when i started :P nuts n bolts gone loose :P

I went to Agra with 2 of my friends. The problem is that my bike was vibrating even if i touch 90kmph and it was struggling to go over 105-110kmph after riding 50-70 kms. as we rode about 100-120 kms in each stretch. My bike is just got serviced 2 weeks ago. All what i doubt is that at the time of service, i asked the mechanic for tuning it a LITTLE BIT towards getting more FE as i was getting 35kmpl earlier in the city with occasionally rough riding.

What do u guys think, am i running lean?

And i also want to know that after how many kilometers of a single stretch (without stopping) does our bikes feel heated (picking up late and being bit rough) if we ride with cruising speed of 85-95?

and also, can it be the loose nuts and bolts accused for the hell lot of vibrations in my bike at 90+ kmph...

P.S. Before the service, i don't use to feel vibes at even 115 kms... (as i've done 117kmph in city) and even at 125kmph on my friend's RTR180 (same bike).

The bike should be pretty smooth after 6k rpm. Somethings definitely not right if there are major vibrations after 6k.

The bike does heat up after continuous riding of an hour or so. But am yet to face major drop in performance due to heat (Maybe I should ride for more longer periods )

Hopefully all the nuts and bolts are tight or else But you should definitely check them . After my last service, the SC guy did not tighten the nut which is opened to drain the oil. I just check them the next day and it was super loose. Had to tighten them myself. I'll give him a good dressing down when I go there for the next service.

Guys... One doubt.. which is worse??? a 'too tight' clutch or a 'too loose' clutch???
Which causes more damage??? In the Short run or long run.... And if anyone can mention why then it wud be great...

Not at all. I rode my bike for around 700kms in one stretch with hardly 3-4 breaks of 5 or 10 min, believe me the average speed was around 95 Still when i started each time i felt the same grunt. The bike is optimized such that if the engine temperature touches a thresh hold it automatically dips down the power to prevent any kind of damage to engine.

That dumb head has surely altered ur air petrol mixture...thats for sure cause i have suffered. But luckily as and when i started the bike i got it captured and i blasted that service guy because untill and unless i dont need any change i especially ask them not to touch the carb nonono.....go back and ask that chump to restore it. The vibrations are mainly are due to that cahnge only. Ask if to tilt the air petrol mixture to little richer petrol side, and then adjust the RPM idling.

Wooh just one more thing if u can compromise on mileage than make it richer in terms of air-petrol mixture and sent the idling to 1400 i have set it....the machine goes like a jet...cheers.

Make sure that ur chain is properly lubed go for OKS it really rocks makes the chain like butter no need to buy any chain clean use petrol to clean it dry it with news paper and apply the lube....It can bring down the vibs and boosts pickup...this is not any best practice but from my personal experience

dude, just check what did i asked and what did u reply... and almost everyone here knows that the bike should be very smooth after 6K rpm... thats wat i've told people a number of times here... so just replying to anything or anybody without even seeing wat the person asked and wat u answered is not at all impressive rather its irritating... no hard feelings, but just want to tell u the same. hope u'll uderstand...
