Yup. It is advisable to change oil within the 1st 200 km. And then change it again during the 1st service aroun 6-700 km.

@apache_180 I think the Pirelli 17" tyre is front. Don't think it is advisable to put front tyres on rear wheel even if the dimensions match. Additional comments welcome.

Well, if it is in context to overheating problem, then it is normal in case of new bikes to get heated up very soon. The reason behind it being very simple that the new cylinder kit's parts get scratched which we call as "piston rawaa ho raha hai" in local language. Scratching as in... the piston gets mated up with the cylinder walls and metal from the mating surfaces gets scratched up and it remains with the engine oil and gets circulated. It makes the engine to get heated up sooner. Not to worry about that, it is normal

No,Pirelli rubber does come for the rear.It is the MT75 range and not the SDs.110/80-17" is available for rear. The only task is to find the dealer with the correct size of your tire.I have been searching one for very long.Reviews have been good and many Xbhp bikes are running on them.Surprisingly, they are not as expensive as the SDs.Prices are very reasonable and they are available for as low as Rs.1.8-2k..

I believe it's because of the tire profile and the tread pattern. Both front and rear tires are used for different purposes. It has something to do with that.I read an article regarding this a while back.It said, the front tires have triangular profile which helps in quick turning whereas the rear ones are more rounded. So using a front for rear might lead to unpredictable ride! But,it also said that because our bikes are light and underpowered there is no problem if you fit the front-spec rubber at rear..

Nobody wants to take chances,no? So,better stick to what's been advised..

@shivank Thanks for the clarification...I have talked to a dealer,he has asked to visit the showroom on monday. In case i am lucky and the tyre is available what would be ur advise :change it or wait for the stock tyre to get lil bit older..(it's just 1 month old)

@social you can check the details here MT 75 , Motorcycle Tyres - PIRELLI

Yes bro, I know that. But, here we have the matter of a Pirelli rubber not be used. Whats the logic that Pirelli rubber shouldn't be used on RTR's rear when we know that it sticks a lot better than the stock one?

And, a question to @lijok bro. Does Joel's FFE for RTR comes with a db killer or it is as loud as any other FFE?

Unlike most car tires, your motorcycle tires need to be different for the front and the rear of the bike. Each motorcycle tire is has been designed with the specific location in mind on the bike and each tire has differing engineered goals to accomplish. Power - acceleration is provided predominantly by the rear tire, and the front tire supplies more of the braking power than is required by the rear tire - this could be up to an 80% difference in requirements for motorcycle tyre braking.

Obviously the front motorcycle tire turns left and right to accommodate direction desired, while the back motorcycle tire is subject only to the lean of the bike, and that too must be taken into consideration in design and choices of motorcycle tires. Since the back tire carries the bulk of the weight, this will alter the design requirements and specification requirements."

Not my theory but makes a lot of sense

Damn!... I was asking about "Why specifically PIRELLI tyre is not good for RTR's rear, not that why front tyre is can't be used at rear side" ... the thing which lead to the mis-understanding is that I didn't read that the tyre that guy referred is a FRONT tyre, and the guys who're replying me on the same didn't notice that I'm asking about WHY NOT PIRELLI rubber, not that why not front tyre at rear ... Well, both of us were confused of what's going on here... lol

Anyways, still thanks to my buddies to make me revise all this

any way bike performed very well. it has given me no major issues yet,

just some minor niggles like hiccups & brake squeeling .
but some from some days bike starts to vibrate at 7k rpm.
ones screwed the afr at home and the mileage dropped down but fixed by svc.

fallen two times nothing major happened. given a identification scar at headlight housing.soon changing it.

                        parts changed yet.

I would suggest you to change them at your earliest convenience..
Stock tires behave good on straights and tarmac but no matter how old or new the TVS tire is it behaves madly when wet!
