These stickers are far better than the cheap stuff you get for 100-200 rupees, i feel that if they sell the stickers for a lower price, every guy would paste abs stickers on his 160/180 and the exclusivity of the bike would be gone, i guess the stickers of zmr cost 2k which is far more higher, so seing from my perspective, its not very highOriginally posted by sujithbvm View PostGuys you wont believe me,,,I asked if possible can I get the Apache ABS stickers and price for the same,,,,The SVC ppl told me that I can get it for 900 rs...

Check with the SVC itself. My small falls did not warrant an insurance claim and the time required for their processes, so I went ahead and replaced whatever was required.Originally posted by pranav_salieri View Post@makky and lijok-can i claim insurance for all these parts????how much does a front grab rail, silencer sheild, hangle bar weight, footpeg cost???
From what I remember, prices of few parts are
1. Front brake lever - 210
2. Crash guard - ~450
3. Handle bar end - ~200/piece
Grab rail, silence shield etc I dont know...

Hi guys, completed 300kms on odo.I rode the bike in heavy rain today. Is there any chance of water seeping into the tank?Because i found few droplets of water under the fuel lid, though after that i started the bike and had no issues.Originally posted by sujithbvm View PostCongrats
I m on 775...eagerly waiting to finish the running in
P.S-I noticed little white paint peeling off near the fuel hole (just where we fill petrol).Apache RTR 180 2011 | Honda Activa 2010 | CBZ Xtreme 2010 (1 month) |Apache 160 FI 2009-2010

Completed 2nd service
Noticed a scratch on the fairing and picked up a fight with the chief mechanic
He tried removing it by applying some wax and polishing it, but still visible
I asked for replacement and the mechanic agreed but started sentimental talks like money would be deducted from his salary
I felt bad and did not want to complicate his job and asked for a free wax polish(worth Rs.300) and he agreed
Previously, I asked him not to put tvs engine oil
and change only the oil filter and I mentioned that I'll bring my own oil during delivery. Bought Castrol power1
for Rs. 290 and gave him, he changed the oil in front of me and advised me to get a seperate bill for oil change so that I won't get warranty issues
Billed for Rs.55
(oil filter and oil change)
1. Engine bed bolts tightened,
2. Tappet clearance checked,
3. Fork bolt tightened,
4. Front fairing tightened.
The bike feels so solid and smooth now
exhaust note has changed and I'm happy with the performance
Service done at Ramkay TVS, Medavakkam

Be carefull when filling up in bunks, i didnt notice first time too , its because in my case that bunk fellow had put the gun on the tank and allowed to rest on the mouth as i was filling up full tank he was not patient to hold it himself, and i got my first scratch.Originally posted by Krish1417 View PostHi guys, completed 300kms on odo.I rode the bike in heavy rain today. Is there any chance of water seeping into the tank?Because i found few droplets of water under the fuel lid, though after that i started the bike and had no issues.

I believe, there's a drain pipe fixed to the mouth of the fuel tank to help water and spilled petrol flow out!Originally posted by sujithbvm View PostTHanks for the headsup kantu and ya after the rains me too saw mud & water mixture near the place of the fuel lid as soon as u open it ,,,,hope that dirt has nnot entered the fuel tank
So no worries

If the scratches are (which I believe would be still there after wax polish)visible, then you may like to try Motomax 2K rubbing compound.I had removed all the minor scratches on my bike using this and its scratchless nowOriginally posted by streetglowie View PostCompleted 2nd service

The SVC guy used 3M rubbing compound and rubbed with some abrasive paper, it now looks like a layer of paint has been removedOriginally posted by Drifty View PostIf the scratches are (which I believe would be still there after wax polish)visible, then you may like to try Motomax 2K rubbing compound.I had removed all the minor scratches on my bike using this and its scratchless now

I don't want to mess it up any further
But the scratch is not so visible after rubbing, happy for now.
