Hey, Sorry its Tappets first of all. And The SVC changed the tappets coz I went to ARE on 16th Oct in Pune & in Finals there was some different noise from my engine & my bike was not going above 58kmph. So while changing tappets the cleaning process was done by SVC.

Guys is there a DIY for Oil change? Searched the forum as well as google, but couldn't find one specific for bike. Could anyone please point out to one if some one knows where it is?

Bike India magazine carried DIY for apache 180 covering all basic maintenance incl. oil change in parts for 2 issues.
Can I upload the pictures here? Won't be any violation by scanning a magazine page and putting here in xBhp?

Made my first D.I.Y
Hi Guys, I have made my first D.I.Y on Oil change for apache RTR series. Thnxx Drifty for giving the idea to use picasa web as a online album, and thnxx Mirhawk for posting his D.I.Y query here from which i got encouraged to make one.

Had been trying to remove the nut for nearly half and hour, but couldn't take it out. Took to a local mechanic, He did it in barely 10 minutes and took just Rs, 20!
Turns out that the part of nut which gets stuck in a spanner had been totally scratched out, hence I was unable to do it myself. Gonna ask the SVC next time to replace it.

Back from a 700 km Coorg Ride! Winding roads, Bad roads, no roads, off roads, straight roads, it had it all... The Motul 7100 10w40 is holding up good and doesnt feel worn out even a bit after the ride (Which Castrol felt after every ride)... Some pics from the ride.
