    Again - Fuel Tank Capacity: 1 Litre (Min). What does that MIN means?

      Let me make it more clear.

      This is Passion Pro's fuel petcock filter:



      Now when we remove the filter, it has a small tube which is open from top and bottom but not in body.



      So what happens is, when the fuel comes below point 1, and the petcock is in ON position, the bike runs out of fuel, because in ON position, fuel can enter only from point 1. And then you need to turn the petcock to RESERVE. When the petcock is in RESERVE mode, the fuel starts entering from point 2.

      So I think that Hero has measured the length of the tube and set it in such a way so that when fuel comes below point 1, then there is approximately 1 litre fuel left in the tank and that is the reserve capacity.

      Experts please correct me if I am wrong.

          Even for my Splendor overhauled, they said till 1st service the mileage will be less ~55KMPL. In 1st service they will adjust everything properly (valve clearance, carb tuning, etc.) for specs so that later on we will be getting good mileage.

                I got 52 kmpl last time I calculated. I think it will increase because engine is still running in. It has done just 3700 kms. This 97.2 cc engine takes about 10000-15000 and then it performs at its full potential.

                @all: I am facing an issue with my bike. When gear is engaged and engine is off, and starter is pressed without clutch then bike runs forward. I checked this with another passion pro and on that bike nothing happened when I pressed the starter with gear engaged without clutch.

                So I think there is something wrong with the starter motor? I think I need to tighten some bolt on starter motor?

                  Your clutch switch is defective. Get it changed.

                  And your spark plug is sorted. Change to resistor plug and tune properly. Bike will return 70 kpl.

                            Splendor has a 2.75 X 18 Tyres. 100/80-18 tyre is wider than stock tyres. Any wider tyre will reduce mileage because the tyre contact to the road is more. But wider tyres give a better grip & handling.

                            Mileage will not reduce drastically by 10-15 KMs. I guess it may reduce to 3-4KMPL.
