Please understand one thing, the size of tire patch in contact with the road is more important than the comfort of not visiting the petrol bunk to get tire pressure checked once a week.
By over inflating even by 5-6 psi, you're going roughly 17-20% above the manufacturer recommended threshold.
While it certainly won't blow the tire, it would for sure reduce the contact patch on the road. That's a disaster waiting to happen.
P.S - most tire blowouts happen due to under inflated tires, when their sidewalls crack open due to load and heat!
Visit the petrol bunk once every week and get the tire pressure checked. It's free in most places.

Sure moderator ji. Got that.
deep007 buy a can of wd40 oil or zorrik 88. It costs Rs.40. Clean the rusted area with a cloth and spray some wd40 on it and leave it for a couple of hours. Then you can spray paint it. Aerosol spray paint container costs Rs.90. Its ready to use. Make sure to cover the nearby areas with old newspapers.

Thank you Sibun Sir for for your guidance. I will definitely clean the terminals of the Ignition Coil as soon I can take my bike to friend's house (u know I live in an apartment). Yesterday I took out the Air screw to check for the grooves but the screw looks smooth and theres no visible cut marks and the blunt tip also looks fine, the edges also looks perfect. Let me run the bike a little more till i can chech the coil n all and fix some other issues of the bike then i will change the whole Air screw set including washer, o-ring and spring......... A new problem has arose. One of my magnet was loose and my mechanic has fixed it using some fevi quick at the time of engine rebore but now it has gone loose again and is making cut cut cut cut cut cut ....... sound. I want to fix it myself this time and yesterday while coming back home bought a Magnet Holder. I didnt had any idea about the Magnet Puller size so I didnt bought it. Kindly guide me as to what type and what size should I buy. Also I opened my Tappet cover because I was suspecting the mechanic hasnt done the valve clearance properly at the time of engine rebore. Surprisingly found out that the inlet valve has no clearance at all. The exhaust side tappet cover is stuck and is not opening with open end or ring spanner. The mechanic must have used his eternal power to tighten it lolzzzzz. Kindly guide me with the stuck tappet cover and magnet puller queries. And please do let me know as to which tools should i keep in hand while adjusting the valve clearance. Though the bike is running kind of fine but I can figure out that the idle is not 100% smooth. It is kind of jery. It runs fine but on the inclined roads I can feel the pulling power decreasing . Is it due to Tight Valves which does not have any clearance and is failing to close properly??? As I have ridden this bike from day one I can feel these small differences in my bike and if someone else drives it he wont be able to feel this things. ........
The engine feels quite hot even with 5 min ride. I have tightened the Clutch lever recently and there is very little to no free-play to it. Could that be the reason why engine feels hotter than usual. I have even changed the engine oil last week to Shell AX5 even then the engine feels hotter than usual. Should I adjust the clutch lever with more free-play..
One more thing Where has DADA disappeared from the scene ??

So sir, Bosch U4A is of different heat range. So should I continue using it or change to OE?

And does a colder plug gives issues like cold starts or hiccups at low rpms? Please tell the changes that a colder plug shows over a hotter plug.

Also if you notice mico plug the electrode is little flush while NGK and champion has a little projected center electrode. It has the advantage that flame projection is faster and engine feels responsive.
Negative is that if little oil or improper mixture then the plug will sort quickly.
As you mentioned sir, OE plug has the centre electrode a little upwards compared to U4A.

I am using U4A so could that be the reason why bike is lazy at low rpms?

Thanks.

Well i'm looking for all hero svc in Gurgaon. If you know can you pls provide me with all the svc's location. Also any local autoparts store you may know who keep genuine spares. I checked hero website but their addresses are not accurate.

Only one i know at mehrauli road (auto needs) but they are crap, doesn't even have stock of common spares.
Well, I don't have any idea about OE spare parts retailers in Gurgaon.
I prefer to visit Karolbagh which is about 7 kms from my flat in Laxminagar. Another advantage of Karolbagh is that I get many aftermarket options as well apart from genuine spares. No wonder it's also known as "2-wheeler spare parts hub of Delhi "

You need magnet puller and magnet holder to open the magnet. The tools shop guys know which magnet is used for which bike. It is same for many bikes. Tell them your bike name and they will give you the correct one.

Engine heating is not an issue. I think you recently got it rebore, rings clearance is tight therefore its getting hot.

Incorrect tappet clearance effects a bike performance a lot including idle.
You need feeler gauge 0.5 mm (just get single strip, 9mm ring spanner and tappet adjusting tool.

Do not use open end spanner it damages the nut, you will find the nut over tightened. Open end tools comes with ring too of same size. This tool is very good for adjusting

Tap the cover and then try to open. Don't damage the grip. If you cant find the grip, file the surface from opposite directions and use open-end spanner.
Get new tappet covers its cheap and also o-ring.

Man its very good for you to live so near. I visited thrice there in last few weeks and yesterday i saw the bike line. Man mind blowing. So many bikes and shops with modification parts hanging around, alloys and all.

I bought valve spring compressor for 150 and fork tool for 80. Its cheap.

How did you manage to get single strip of the feeler gauge brother ??? I just bought it for 200/- from hardware shop. You know brother when I was searching for feeler gauge at one hardware shop when I asked for it they asked me WHAT IS FEELER GAUGE ?? I said it is used to measure gap. They said IS IT USED IN REFRIGERATORS ??? Meri to hasi nikal gai hehaaaaa......
And brother you are saying the gap to be 0.5mm but my 2004 Passion Plus owners manual says recommended gap to be 0.05mm. Which one is correct ?? Does my owner manual has a mis-print.
And I noticed my bike wasnt getting hot after rebore. I am experiencing it recently after the engine oil change and clutch lever free-play adjustment. The head block heating is not an issue but the clutch assembly side is also getting hot and the heat can be felt on my right foot as well.
I do have 9mm shallow offset ring spanner but I dont have the tappet adjusting tool. Will have to buy it.
I tried tapping the cover and then opening it but it refuses to open and the grip is also getting damaged. Once it opens i'll definitely change them. I try to find the close end box type spanner. That works well for the tappet cover i think.
Tried to attach image but cant figure out how to attach it properly. Posting the link instead.

Your manual is correct its 0.05, i wrote it wrong.
You should have 10-15mm play at the end of your clutch lever. If tight, clutch will slip and generate heat.

I hope you got the branded feeler because the local one (Anand is one of the brand) are ridiculous. None of the strip will be correct and therefore clearance will be incorrect.
I bought the single strip in my home town (Jamshedpur) and costed only Rs 45.00 few years ago.

Thanks for the confirmation brother. I'll increase the free play on the lever and see if it helps. Also after tightening the clutch lever, the kick was slipping sometimes.
I didnt knew that single strip can also be found or else I wouldnt have bought the whole thing. For 200/- I cant expect it to be a good branded item. Its VETPEX written on it.
