You are right, yes the bill is on the higher side. But i am a novice like you guys and am learning slowly. Here is the bill screenshot, pardon the english used by my mechanic. He is good at what he does his hand writing might be little hard to understand and the choice of letters used is hard as well. And buy me sometime, i will upload the pics of my bike.

Hi All,

Suggestion required.

Clutch plates worn out on my splendor.
One of the suggest Apaches Clutch plates with HH bell. Is it ok.

Hi,
I'm currently running on Osram Silverstar, shaved the lower half of the black color.
Its really good in the Higher beam when adjusted the assembly to a lil down except the light being a slightly whitish.
If you have a MFR its much better mine was a modded Swaraz Mazda Headlamp unit fixed to HH :-).

Hi people I own a Splendor ismart 110 cc
I have four issues
1. The bike does not start on first crank if it has been left in sun for more than fifteen minutes after a ride it takes exact three cranks to start
2. Sometimes when the bike is pulled from standstill in first gear a very loud "tak" sound and engine stalls even if the engine is hot, it is very loud like something wants to come out of the engine even when it happened the first time I was very much scared because I thought some stone hit around the tank
3. The bike is constantly delivering around 30-35kmpl even it has run more than 2000km in city.
4. Sometime the bike just does not self start it does not even crank only a very faint click-click sound comes and if I even just kick start the bike little bit, yes little bit not full kicking I would say after that the bike easily self starts and every thing in bike is working when the bike does not start

Use it for 2k kms and let us know.

Oil preferences may vary depending on type of use, hence it would be best to arrive at your own conclusions.

For example in my case the CT100B is prescribed to run 10W30, but since I weight a lot and ride harder especially in Kerala's climatic conditions, I opt for 20W50 grade oil.

Thats fine, just press and release the starter once the motor fires up.

Plus, if you have the habit of pushing and releasing the starter a little too soon and redoing it when the bike fails to start, you run a high chance of draining the battery a little too much. Not an issue now, but it might bite you in the ass when you least expect it.

The bang you hear when you slot the bike into first gear after starting her up is due to the clutch plates sticking, you can reduce this by declutching a couple of times or by starting the motorcycle in gear with the clutch pulled in.

The bang you hear when you release the clutch in gear is due to the abrupt transfer of power from the power train to the stationary drive train. Ensuring that your damper clutch and drive chain is within recommended spec. would do.

3. The bike is constantly delivering around 30-35kmpl even it has run more than 2000km in city.

Relay clicking and the starter not engaging is usually due to the battery being weak, it would be best to not reach any conclusions at this point of time considering that your motorcycle is new.

Thanks for the above answers because I was worried as it is my first bike and I will definitely get the drivechain checked that it is within recommended spec as I also thought something was not right but could not point it out and the service Centre people does not care about the problems.

Want to make it work properly.

How is the condition of idle screw ?is any adjustment done ?.How is the carb? Is it cleaned properly?if the pilot jet/idle jet is blocked the same problem occur .
How is air filter, is it replaced ? How is spark plug is it changed ?
If do not done the above works, try it ?At that time also change the carb insulator(black plastic piece between carburetor and inlet pipe/flange ) .If insulator gone same idle problem shows.Also said to mech to inspect the current .
The carb replacing is little costly .Carb want replace only, if all solution do not effect .
Did you get proper fuel efficiency from bike?

I think the battery on my Splendor has gone kaput in 5 months of usage only and the other issue is when accelerating sometimes the bike just dies with a loud sound and even the mechanics don't know what it is and it mostly happens in first gear. Any guess?

How much km run now? When this happen, is it occure in cold or any time ?.
Did you try the tricks from ashwin ji?

Only 2200 kms, Even after a long run when I try to crank engine makes a harsh noise and does not crank, leave alone the short commutes and it happens in any temperature and even leave me embarrassed in the middle of the road.
I don't know about any tricks please explain.
