better if u take in both.

Can anyone give me a wiring diagram of a splendor, passion or cd dawn??
I've a passion one got from here but thats not clear.
I want to figure out one pink wire. There is yellow wire comes to the headlight switch. that switch has two functions. There are two wires connected for out.
When the switch is off the power from yellow wire returns back through pink wire...and i tried to figure out where its going but i cant, i guess the color is getting change inside. And when i switch ON the power gets to headlight via another wire instead flowing back through pink.

DId I over oiled the filter
I already told u not to dip. Dont u read that??
I too wash in kerosene, thats nothing wrong in it, but u over oiled the filter.
Do one thing take it out and semi wash again, dont wash completely.
drop some kerosene, squeeze it, it will take out some of the oil, warp it in newspaper, and refit it. Dont wash completely coz have already washed, what i'm telling u to do, is to reducing the amount of oil.

Our CDI unit has a too much cost i need to change coz i'm getting a little bit red spark on spark plug (also tested on different spark plugs)

Can anyone tell me which coil is use here to power CDI? I guess that yellow covered coil is used!
and what is that back part used for? just little bit side above the gear rod? I've seen it has two wires one grounded and other goes to CDI
Yes the yellow coil is CDI charging coil and change it and your spark will become blue once again. The black coil is pulsar coil and it work as crank position sensor which sends the CDI signal when to fire.
In hero honda bikes the CDI charging coil gets frequently weak as all load is on this coil. The pick-up coils are never changed in hero honda.

You have over oiled the filter as when you dipped the filter the oil got inside filter and thus blocked the pores. The oil should be applied on surface very lightly so that it traps the dust without blocking supply of air. One method i am giving to apply oil is to first put oil on your palms and rub both the palm as you do to put oil on hair and then roll the filter between the palms as if applying oil on hair.
Immediately remove the filter and clean as your engine is feeding on a diet of oil and fuel rather than air and fuel. It will cause carbon in valves and head.
@shoeb- Did you get the PM.

Oh wow! thanks! how did u learn so much things...i too have knowledge but not like yours. Thats for what i've come here to learn.
My spark plug is not getting white, today for the first time i've done the valve clearance and my compression has become stronger than before....
Almost all the mechanics here in my city dont have gauge for valve clearance.
not even the service center mechanics do. They do guessing estimate by their own. Its better to do by own. I love doing mechanical things, therefore i do most of the works myself & my bike gives me the high performance and i love riding it
          anyway,

Does old splendor & passion have same CDI like mine??
At how many kms should we clean our valves & head. My SC mechanic told its better to clean at every 10,000 kms.
and how can we polish the valves?

            For example -
In 100/90 the 100 denotes the width in mm and 90 denotes 90% of 100 mm which is the sidewall of tire. 100/25.4=3.94 and 90 mm= 3.54
in the inch system i.e 3.00-18, the width of tyre is 3 inches and also the sidewall is 3 inches. So basically the diameter increases because the sidewall height increases. So the rolling radius also increases.
When i changed my joy's tire from default 2.75 to 3.00 my mechanic told that my mileage will decrease, which is logical but instead my mileage increased and top speed also increased. But acceleration slightly decreased. Joy has a smaller rear sprocket by default and thus has more top-speed than splendor. So with increase in tire rolling radius the mileage increased and top speed by 10 kph.
My dads splendor+(new) has 2.75 by default and it looks quite small from my joys rear tyre. Also splendor+ and passion both share the same rim i.e 1.6*18 but splendor has 2.75-18 tire and passion has 3.00-18 tire. After the first time i changed the default tire(2.75-18) at 30k and till 3.1 lacs km i have always changed to 3.00-18(5 tires at rear). Presently i am running on 3.00-18 dunlop challenger grip at rear.
Please psr sir don't take it as i am preaching you, as i know you have far more knowledge than me but i thought i need to intervene to let my thoughts.

Thanks..And in this procedure how much oil does we need and can I go with 90 wt oil..do we have to apply only in the outer surface only?

When the HL switch is in off position, the current flows from yellow wire to pink wire.
This pink wire is connected to a resistor which dissipates excess current when headlights are not in use.
(Resistor is located behind the tail lamp in cd-deluxe,splendor and in passion it is under the carrier/rear grab mounting bolts)

I've checked there but haven't found. What if i stop the flow from pink wire?

... Although I see that you are not entirely following my method of cleaning the foam elements to completion . A freshly cleaned and re-oiled foam air-filter needs some time to dry and set up . The bike's engine shall run a bit rich for a hundred km or so (untill then) . Hence the effects you observed . It is normal , and I have already warned about it on my write-up . Keep riding . No problem .

You may adopt any reasonable means to saturate the foam with the oil , including all that has been suggested here - making sure that the foam is really well saturated with the oil and the oil is well spread inside-out on and into the foam , leaving no dry spots at all . Then squeeze it(without twisting it even slightly) like hell to expell as much of the oil as is physically possible with two hands and without the use of any other implement . Lightly roll with a sheet of newspaper (mainly to dry off the dripping oil and your hands) . Refit the foams . That is it . No problem .

Note : I am finding that the Veedol EP90 gear oil pouch I have bought is not good enough for either oiling the air-filter elements or the drive-chain , when compared to the Castrol GL4 90 (formerly the Castrol SAE90) oil . It is relatively thin and is flowing off sooner . Have to revert back asap despite 50% extra expense . Any suggestions ?

Applying kerosene on an oiled foam air-filter shall render it useless for the intended purpose , untill it is fully cleaned , dried and re-oiled again . Kerosene is a cutting solvent for such oils as is used on the foam air-filters . These oils, once so contaminated - does not reconstitute itself back to it's former self by losing the dissolved solvent . Once the oil loses it's oily-ness(so to speak) the filtering also stops right there . The oil filters the air , the foam does not .
If over-oiled somehow , it can be remedied by rolling the dismantled filter elements in a sheet of toilet paper (or newspaper) to take out some of the oil . Most would even hesitate to do this as this can drive the trapped dirt on a partly used filer , deeper in ..... but not much dirt trapped in there in a day or two , I guess .

I don't want to expand the already plentiful collection of miscellaneous oil bottles in the garage anymore, it's getting serious now, and I don't even know how to dump it .

I'm not intended to make u jealous, I just want to let the people know that we can install 60W bulb in old splendor, passion or cd dawn or whichever has 3 poles. Who believe, think, that it cannot be done.
I haven't rewind my coil. I believe, if we rewind it, will get better.
