Sir is 4-5 kg isnt too much for TB 350 and that too in the front ? And the price is 2000 from B.O.C RE Kamarhati is it fair ?

Ya it's way too much ..here in Pune the dealer gives for 1800 but installed from a local shop for 950. Same company product. weight doesn't affect bro..using my tb350 since past 10 months that's run for 11000km +. Never felt as such.

Sir in Pune every thing is within budget , thats why I see so many supercars there - MERC/AUDI/BMW/RR . anyways going by your point I am going tomorrow to buy the guard and I will surely post you the pictures on the thread . Can you tell me what kind of guards do RE provide to the TB 350 line ?

The classic ,standard and tb share the same kind of guards.

But first look at my crash guard (picture attached) it is simple and looks cool on TB this weigh around 2.5kg, therefore mileage will not be an issue here. don't buy that three bar curved (curved towards driver) crash guard it looks bad on thunderbird (but good for Bullet standard/classic). Also my crash guard is having Royal enfield marking on sides which looks cool & it cost me approx 2000 rs (i have attached pictures, sorry for bad photography

Officially RE has no approved guard for TBTS. The showroom and service centre guys try to sell the standard Triple guard (as they call it) for all bikes. These are chrome plated and not essentially 100% stainless steel.

Also in case of TBTS, foot pegs being slightly forward than Classic and other model, the standard triple may hinder the foot movement. And if you observe, the clearance between the wheel and chassis of TBTS is slightly lesser than that of Classic and other models, hence whichever crash guard you chose install, should be such that it wont hit the mudguard in case the bike goes through extreme potholes/ditches.

Thank you for your information but I decided not to choose the guard . First - I did not got the money from the atm Second - While installing the person was trying to change the setting of the cables in front Third - As there is no built in clamp to hold the guard so they were installing in the hanging manner which I doubt about it stiffness Fourth - Without the guards all the RE looks reallllly awsome in comparison to any bikes -except Triump and Harley Davidson.

Keep it in your priorities of TO BUY items as soon as you get some cash.

Looks of bikes need to be preserved in case of a crash, or in parking lots where bikes parked too close will scrape. If you want the crash guard to not cause hindrance with the appearance, then go for a jet black powder coated guard, those blend in with the bike.

Check out 'BUTB2013 T.BIRD CRASH BAR NEW 350/500cc' at Quality Metal Industries Products - Crash Bars. Its bottom is split and narrow to better suit the TBTS model. That's the one a mechanic demonstrated to me which didn't easily come close to the mudguard even after front shocks were severely and vigorously depressed.

Whenever you get cash pls install one (with proper mounting). because its not always about looks, be aware of yours & bulls safety.

@Rohan12 I have sent an email to the company asking about the same. As other than that here in Hyd it is available with certain mechanics' stores, so i am guessing it may be available similarly around you too perhaps. Do check and in the meantime I will alert you once i receive any reply from them too.

They have dealers in every state supposedly, and they will provide the details to you about the same, if you call them and mention your state or send them an email at their email address (personally i feel this may be a slower way).

PS: the person i spoke with had a language barrier and the phone was passed around a couple of times until i got the desired response (I was speaking in english/hindi)

Guys need help

1. How to clean the air filter - with air blower(7000rpm) / or / with petrol ? - Can't use water as it will kill the product

2. Should I change the engine oil at 3000 or at 2000 KM - STOCK OEM OIL

3. Which engine oil to be used - M / SS / FS - I am currently using Liquid Gun - no problem .
