    2. Now i am confident on fuel tank capacity, i also switched the bull in reserve at the two bars in meter. Yesterday i did completed 250 kms & last unit starts blinking. (Problem solved)
    1. Yesterday, I set my idle RPM to 1125 (needle position: lies between marking of 1000 & 1250). now engine is working fine & smooth. Though in mornings as you mentioned i have to throttle for 1-2 min but after that all fine. so my engine problem is almost over. before Tb350, i was having Yamaha FZ Fuel injection, yes they automatically adjust the mixture. & Also if possible please send me a good picture of your Idle screw so i can count no. of threads up.
by the way my bull is giving mileage of 38-41 Kmpl. whats your mileage?
Also your stone black colour looks awesome, mine is flicker.
you are doing great job, wherever we have experience we should help others.
Rohan If you need any help directly mail me.
First of it is my pleasure to help others and thank you . About the email PM me and I will send you the email of mine. In case of mileage I am getting 40 kmpl the actual mileage of TB350 under their written thread - KM reading 495 - Petrol fillted 14 ltr / Now the calculation - 495/14 = 35.35 kmpl - this is under 14 litr . Now if I add 6 ltrs more which makes the tank total 20 ltrs then 35kmpl+6ltr = 40kmpl now here I am driving the speed between 60-100 kmph / Avg speed is 60 Highest speed attained 130 kmph (there was vibration but I loved those vibration) . But under 250 km your bike is showing 2 blinks of fuel ! but in my case under that same km it was having 4 blinks now under completing 495 km it showed 2 blinks - But maybe as SPECIFIED by enfield the tank varies in each TB350 so that may be the case .
Secondly , please note when you will/your mechanic will clean the sparkplug you might have black soots in your left hand side spark plug(main spark) and brown on the right hand side(secondary spark plug) don't freak out - this happens as we are changing the rpm needle setting . So if you have it just clean it and move on . The best way to test whether we have the PERFECT A/F ratio of our bike is by two process :-
    1. There will be water under your silencer - which might give you the feeling that water leakage is there but don't worry water droplets on the ground under the silencer proves that you have the perfect A/F ratio - This will happen only when the outside ATMS temperature is lower than 22/20 'C .
    2. When the bike is on pull the choke to see the bike dies - if it happens you have the perfect A/F ratio . You have to be careful as when you pull the choke high amount of air and fuel has been passed through the carburetor which might be a problem to start at first attempt . Don't worry after few clicks your bike will start . In that case kick start your bike in which you don't have to continuously click the start button.

And which oil are you using in your engine are you using liquid gun or some other oil ?

Rohan don't get confused, i filled 9 L petrol in my new bike (as a suggestion please don't put too much of petrol (20L) in your tank, put half of it. Extra half cause you 10 kg increase in your bull weight, which reduces your acceleration and also it is dangerous.even if bull is having mileage of 35 you can travel 350 kms and in between you can easily find a Gas station. so please dont fill it up to the neck). i hit reserve at 200 kms & last bar starts blinking at aroung 220 kms.
      Happy Thumping

        To Andrew sumit
See the rpm needle . Factory set is 900 but in reality it should be this.

Help needed - I have filled up the tank full - 20 ltrs to be exact where the fuel is above the brim of the tank . Now the problem is the bike is frequently stalling is it because I have overfilled the tank . I have lost the extra fuel and now the fuel is slightly below the brim and the bike is now not stalling . So what actually happened and what is Vapour lock or air lock - is this what my problem is or something else . And what I have noticed every time i loose the fuel from the brim of the tank the stalling problem disappears . PLEASE HELP

Never fill petrol above the brim...the air hole causes vacuum which causes the bike to stall.

Nice to hear from you Rohan,
Top speed is not the correct word here, because if you want to accelerate hard you can go to 4000 rpm or more (max. torque of twin spark engine) also called racing start. but if you want nominal torque which is the case of normal driving condition (Many of normal driver follow this). In normal condition, you should up-shift gears between 2700-3000 rpm. so let us take assumption rpm is 3000 (max). now i am performing some approximate calculation to get kmph speed at 5 gears @3000 rpm (but other factors can change conditions like gradient etc).

                      gear ratios :
                      • Gear Ratio1st 3.06:1
                        2nd 2.01:1
                        3rd 1.52:1
                        4th 1.21:1
                        5th 1:1
                      • Final DriveF.D. Sprocket - 16 Teeth & Rr. SPKT 38T
                      • Final ratio2.375:1

                      Enginespecs:
                      • Max Power @ rpm19.8 BHP @ 5250 rpm
                      • Max Torque @ rpm28 Nm @ 4000 rpm

                      Tyre specs:
                      • Front90/90 - 19" - 52 P
                      • Rear120/80 - 18" - 62 P (0.4572 m)

                      1st Gear ratio up to the final drive = 3.06 x 2.375 = 7.2675
                      2nd Gear ratio up to the final drive = 2.01 x 2.375 = 4.773
                      3rd Gear ratio up to the final drive = 1.52 x 2.375 = 3.61
                      4th Gear ratio up to the final drive = 1.21 x 2.375 = 2.874
                      5th Gear ratio up to the final drive = 1 x 2.375 = 2.375

RPM of rear tyre @3000 engine rpm
                      1st gear = 412.80
                      2nd gear = 628.50
                      3rd gear = 831
                      4th gear = 1043.85
                      5th gear = 1263.20

consider 20% slip and gear box/ drive train efficiency as 70%

Speed of rear tyre (18 inch size): Here assume that tyre linear speed is equal to speed of vehicle.
1st gear = 28 Kmph (Normal you can go to higher speed but it is not good for your engine)
                      2nd gear = 44 kmph
                      3rd gear = 57 Kmph
                      4th gear = 75 kmph
5th gear = 130 kmph (here engine rpm is more than 5250)

But remember before follow this at Higher speeds you want to extract max power from your engine which you can get at 5250 Rpm. even if you go for higher rpm theoritically it is possible but your speed will be limited by ground /road friction (slip increases).

                      gear =

                        1st gear = 28 Kmph / Now mine 30
                        2nd gear = 44 kmph / Now mine 44
                        3rd gear = 57 Kmph / Now mine 60
                        4th gear = 75 kmph / Now mine 80
5th gear = 130 kmph / Now mine 110-115 - have no roads ahead/don't want to spoil the engine at 600 km/will give me less mileage.

Now in my section does the speed I am using is good or more than required ?

RPM of rear tyre @3000 engine rpm
                        1st gear = 412.80
                        2nd gear = 628.50

5th gear = 130 kmph / Now mine 110-115 - have no roads ahead/don't want to spoil the engine at 600 km/will give me less mileage.

Now in my section does the speed I am using is good or more than required ?
                          ,

Don't worry, those calculations are theoretical only and even i have assumed slip on higher side, therefore if you are under +10% of calculated speeds then it is ok but try to be under those limits for long life of engine. btw this speeds may change with pillion rider so be aware. About mileage, carb engines deliver more Fuel at higher RPM range to extract more power from engine, this is not the case with FI engines where economy can be extended upto higher RPMs. My FZ used to have economy range of 10 kmph to 75 kmph (though it has small engine).
Thunderbird has carb so don't ride at 5250 RPM or above keep it around 4500 at higher speeds to keep good fuel economy. ( i think speed of 95-100 kmph is good)
even before 2000Kms don't exceed 80kmph. After that you can ride your bull as hard as you want.

Ok I will take you advice . But I have one question in mind - should i put leg guard in TB or not ? The dealer is asking for 2000 and in the market it is 1950 - though I have the amount thanks to the ATM GOD but I have seen in other's people TB it does not look at all - looks out of shape/bulbous - I know the importance of it like protecting your leg and also partially helps your bike to get from scratch - other than that it has no advantage . I have even asked Divya Saran about it he also agreed with me not to install it and it has the unwanted weight and might reduce the mileage . So should I buy it tomorrow or just leave it ? My previous bikes - Discover 100m / Karizma R 2014 did not had any leg guard (karizma does not have/bajaj bike was not provided).

The bike is heavy get a leg guard..u own a Royal Enfield bro mileage shouldn't be a factor. I don't think it will drop your mileage.

Ok but by adding the leg guard will the stability get hampered or how much is the weight of the leg guard - approx
