    I've changed my tyres to Ceat GRIPP - Front 90/90 19" (Impulse Tyre) , Rear - 3.50 19".
They are pretty good & are better than the stock.

Hi All, I am planning to buy a second hand TB 350 2014 model. Bike is in above good condition but The only question's coming into my mind is:

      1) The owner is saying that his bike's done only 18k but Bike's Meter is not working and rear tyer is worn out completely and Front tyer is in good condition, It can run 10k more.

      2) Their is oil leak at the upper area, between the kick and gear area. Behind that Square type area in which piston works.

Can any TB owner tell me that What is the life span of rear tyer?

Are you facing the same oil leak issue?

And How much should i quote him.

Go to a reliable mechanic. Remove the speedo assembly and disassemble it. The rubber stalk from the outer switch will have moved from its position..I had the same problem with my tbts500. Hope it helps
        Hello
Thank you for your reply. My mechanic is hesitant to even touch the speedo console, he curses it for being too delicate. Is there any DIY that I can try. If you could post some pictures that would be helpful and much appreciated.

              Happy Independence Day to everyone.
After about 1 year opened the tool box of my bike and was shocked to see wrenches and other tools were all covered in rust. What steps should I take to prevent this. Kindly see attachment.Click image for larger version

the supplied tools are of extremely bad quality. i would advice you to buy good quality Taparia branded tools if you must.

if you want the existing tools, clean them with kerosene/diesel and apply some oil to prevent rust.

Hi all , After 3 long months of waiting my bird 350 is to be delivered to me tomorrow. Is it possible to drive it from pune to kolhapur (250 km) on the day of delivery itself , what things should I take in to consideration if it is posible .?

Maintain speed limit and rpm below 2.5.. Don't ride continuously for long period.. Take break every 45 mins atleast

Congrats and welcome to the club. Make sure you do a proper PDI of the bird before taking delivery. I don't think it would be a problem driving it for that distance but do make sure that don't cross 60kmph and make sure you drive it sedately. Do make sure you service for bike at 500kms to avoid Problems regarding any warranty claim. Cheers have fun and ride safe.

Thank you for welcome , I rode the bike below 60kmph and 2500 rpm Max . I thought the gear box was overheating a bit and gear shifting was not that smooth hope this will sort out after 1st service . Overall I love the bike it's a pleasure to ride this bike , Cheers.

The heating is normal it will slowly get to normal after your first service. Remember to service your bike at the prescribed periods as stated in the user manual to avoid hassles while making any warranty claims. Gear box is always notchy for me even after riding the bird for 2 years. I may improve a bit though as you ride.
