Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Mine is still good at 40k. Depends on a lot of factor. Luck being one big one considering RE. Recommend use correct tyre pressures for proper shock absorber feedback. And of course check for leaks as the rear one is a gas shock.Originally posted by bencherian View PostCheerio!

Re: Royal enfield rhunderbird 350 clutch problem
You need to adjust the clutch wire nut at the spring loaded lever on the left hand side of the engine casing. It's located just beside the starter motor.Originally posted by anirudhkamboj View PostMy tb350 is 4 months old. Coming straight to the issue
Compared to my other motorcycle, the clutch engages very high up. In other words just about when the lever is almost nearing full release.......whereas in case of my 09 karizma, the clutch would enage as soon as the lever is half released..
Is it common with all bullets?
What should i check for?Cheerio!

Tried doing but still there is considerable free play and the clutch engages nearly to full leverOriginally posted by somenath1061 View PostYou need to adjust the clutch wire nut at the spring loaded lever on the left hand side of the engine casing. It's located just beside the starter motor.

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Yes, the engine was cold when i had recorded but i had kept my cell almost next to the engine ( So the tappet noise is more ). No Problem as such only the noise , Yes the another rattling noise is what i'm taking about, its very minimal but its very irritating.Originally posted by somenath1061 View PostWhich noise are we talking about. There is one distinct tappet noise. It's a bit louder than usual. If you are facing any pickup problem or decompression problem you should check out your tappet and valve push rod assembly. At 50k things may need replacement. There is another rattling noise in the background. Can't make out what that is may be a loose section.
Just out of curiosity is the media recorded when the engine was cold?
The sound is more or less the same even when the engine is heated.

Re: Royal enfield rhunderbird 350 clutch problem
The adjuster arrangement has two nuts. Sometimes you might have to remove one nut all together. Sometimes the cable is just a bit short or long. Have to try different arrangement. Mine worked this way after I removed the top nut.Originally posted by anirudhkamboj View PostTried doing but still there is considerable free play and the clutch engages nearly to full leverCheerio!

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Well the sound comes at equal interval. I think it might be simple loose part but should be thoroughly checked. No experience here.Originally posted by jayanth_b_p View PostYes, the engine was cold when i had recorded but i had kept my cell almost next to the engine ( So the tappet noise is more ). Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
It can be adjusted with the losing the nut below the headlight. Try DIY. Don't believe everything service center says, they don't have the bike, U have.... 😜Originally posted by lightpower View PostRecently bought a TBTS 350 ( 3 days old ). The headlight beam is too low and upon checking with service centre, they mentioned it can't be adjusted in TBTS. Any of you faced this problem and possible suggestions ?

Re: Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350 Owners Experiences
Thank you. Yes tried that and I think the clamp design is the problem. One of my friend have suggested me to get a redesigned clamp from Service Center ( Embedded link shared by him ). Let me give it a try. Currently I am running without the Clamp. I am sure it will end up in alignment change, but can't live with the clamp.Originally posted by KnG View PostIt can be adjusted with the losing the nut below the headlight. Try DIY. OK, what I did wz I removed the clamp below the headlight & straighted it up a little bit to get the gap I need to adjust the nut FORWARD. Worked for me.Last edited by KnG; 02-12-2017, 09:22 PM.
