and believe it or not ...the gear shifts were so smooth ....the handle bars had no vibrations like i faced with the CBR ,....and ride was so comfortable ..and the exhaust note plain SYMPHONY.(i have one with a wider opening @ muffler end that came in the earlier lots )....althought the experience was only of a few kms daily....It was a bliss ....!

Soon again , i ll be giving my CBR to the showroom for shims issue ..last time they did not fir the right shims ..and the only good thing about this whole drama is that i ll be riding my First love again ! ....

heres a pic ..latest i have installed "CBZ extreme Alloy Wheels" on her.

    HAIL THE CBZ ....!

Hey is my exhaust the same as yours? I mean is this a catcon?

Okay. Now I'm confused!! I believe its a Catcon on that MP-04, but that small hole below main exhaust hole confuses me. Catcon doesn't have that. Or is the angle from which the snap is shot elaborating the main exhaust hole?

Great news that is!! Any luck with the scanning part? Many, including myself are waiting for the coveted manual. Please post it ASAP.

                HAIL THE CBZ ....!
Very few people retain their old bikes when they get new bikes. Now a days most people after riding for 3-4 years just buy new bikes and forget those times when their old bike stood with them be it rain or sun shine.
Some who retain old bikes keep them in such shabby condition that you will feel pity on seeing it. While they will be taking extra care on new bikes but their old bikes will be lying in a pity state.
You are the person who is still retaining your old bike even after buying a CBR. Take good care of the CBZ and it will always be ready to help you.
Remember my words one day your CBR will be standing and your CBZ will come to rescue.
As you can see my signature i have kept my Joy even after buying my CBZ extreme and still keep it like my baby. every other day i alternate between both bikes and i like to ride my joy more than my cbz.
So please post the photos of your cbz after washing and give her a polish. The first model cbz was my weakness and still if i see one standing i just stop and gaze at it. I was requesting my friend who has a old cbz to sell to me as it was a well maintained bike and run very less but he didn't sell it.

Good point. But there are few who just love their old & trusted steeds for they remember all the joy the old bike has brought them and how it stood the test of time and never failed to keep pace with our fast, very fast lives. I clean my 11year old CBZ everyday along with my C5. Everytime I ride it in rain, I make sure that I remove all the mud even from the most inaccessible parts. Also, I love to spend money on her as the last thing I can stand is my CBZ looking shabby. At 74k, she still has the grunt and is pretty fast for city roads. And looking at the miles your Joy has done, I feel my CBZ will run for 20 more years

I wholeheartedly agree with The One. My CBZ will be 12 years next month. The Bike is truly, Fill it, Shut it and Forget It.
In these 11 yrs 11 months I have done over 1 lakh Kms and these are some of the things that I have done with the bike:
                    1. Change both the Front Shocks (Due to accident) but never had the same maneuver while taking low bends.
                    2. Change tyres from MRF Zapper to Dunlops (both F-R)
                    3. Change Sprocket twice.
                    4. Battery Thrice
                    5. For about 3 years I drove without battery. (Oh you better believe it)
                    6. Change Front Mudguard thrice.
                    7. Change Windshield thrice.

Boy oH Boy, nothing can compare with this Classic. Sometimes I have ill treated her so bad that rust started creeping on her. But now I have taken care of her again. She as beautiful and pretty, still burning hot between the legs as first received.

                              • For past few days I am facing an issue with the kick lever. Once the bike is running, the lever moves and doesn't stick to it's normal closed position which in a way interferes with the right foot position. I then have to push it back (while riding) towards the normal position but it will again happen after few minutes. It's like a nut has come lose and the lever is freed to move almost 50 degrees. Will be taking it to the mechanic on weekend but wanted to know if anyone faced this issue before.
