  • ^^ before doing that, why dont you try removing the air intake hose, its a common mod done to increase the airflow to the filter.

I'm also one of the happy Ninja owners... and have done about 3700 Kms so far.

I would like to upgrade the stock air filter to K&N replacement filter; Also, i would like to upgrade the stock exhaust to Two Brothers Racing V.A.L.E M2 Slip-on. I would like to get more power (even it's 1 Bhp more) & midrange out of the bike. Will this upgrade offer the same?

Has anyone done such upgrades? If so, what's the feedback?

          P.S:
I would wait upto 6000 Kms before doing this upgrade.
Changing rear sprocket will yield much more benefit at a much cheaper cost with low and mid range than anything else.

Like someone said, better to sweat than to bleed.

And he does look great in full gear. Looks very stealth and reminds me of street hawk.

The helmet has got a spoiler on the rear portion. Never have I seen a helmet with a spoiler before. Gotta measure the downforce sometime, share a pic of that Rahul.

I feel the drag after 120... it does not push the camera backwards because the fitting is very tight.
are you usiing the suction cup as the mount or the other 3M sticky thingy ?

                  • Guy... i have done odd 4700 kms on my bike...
but i feel a bit roughness in the engine after it.. so planned to clean the air filter.... Did so yesterday and nearly 80% of roughness is gone...

1 st air filter cleaning done at 1030kms
                    2nd one at 2900
                    3rd one at 4700

after every cleaning the roughness gets reducess..

But i want to ask everyone ... do all of you follow the same pattern of cleaning it... ?
                    RIP Marco

K&N filter is a waste of money on the Ninja, IMHO Clean your stock filter every month, and that should do the trick.

Thanks... that's the GoPro Motorsports HD. The camera package comes with many mounts, one of them being a curved base for the helmet with a double sided tape. I used that for mounting the camera!

The sticky thingy. Sticks like an electromagnetic leech I don't trust the suction mount. I heard the group from Pune dropped the GoPro on their Southy trip Bet it was on a suction mount

Thanks... yes, the leathers can get hot, but gives me a feeling of safety like none other. I have got used to the heat, so it is pretty ok. But I am much better way off than MotoGP riders, who have to race in full leathers in 45-50 deg celcius!

Yeah the sticky thingy is awesome..I use that too.
But the suction cup works mega wonders too. Especially on the Helmet and a clean surface.
That was my camera that the group of riders who rode from pune to south lost lol so I know who are talking about. But it wasnt mounted on the suction cup as I had furnished them with the sticky mounts and not the suction cup.
Trust the cup like you trust your tyres
