Use Motul Mineral oil as its much better than the bajaj oil that they are using. They put the bajaj oil in my bike at first service too. If i had known earlier i would have used Motul Mineral at first service too.

I switched to Semi synth only at ~4k kms. The bike became smoother and more refined (very noticeable).

If you want to switch to semi synth wait till 4k or 5k kms. Fully synth oil only after 10k kms.

First off, they didnt service it properly, then they scratch the bike. What they did to cover the scratch is secondary. It shouldnt have been there in the first place.

If i were you i'd escalate. I didn't spend so much money on this bike for shoddy after sales service. But now its your call. Lodge a complaint if you want to

P.S. You might want to take the bike back when the spares are available. No point going there and just getting a check-up done. Its the oil filter thats needs a replacement... not cleaning. Air filter can be cleaned at home itself. Search the DIY threads for this or on you-tube. IIRC, one of the xBHP magazines covered this article in detail.

One more thing, i change the oil every 5k kms and oil filter every 10k kms. More frequent than what the manual suggests and its good to do so since its a high revving bike and the oil would lose its lubricating properties faster. I know people who have changed oil every 3k kms too in their ninja's.

I'll keep this point in my mind and will follow the same and will be going for Motul Mineral Oil as of now.
Regarding, all the problems I faced during the first service I have escalated the issue to the Manager at the service centre but as of now verbally and they said wait till Saturday we'll be resolving all the issues.

Thank you aditya for your precious advise, it would be really helping me out

I searched for the Motul Mineral Oil, found this one 3000 4T Plus 20W40 http://www.motul.com/in/en/products/423?f[quality]=23&f[range]=21. Is this the right one for which I should go for?

As per the manual you need to fill 20W50 oil which confirms to API SJ SL specs (pls see the manual and confirm this as i can't remember it right now) and should mention - for wet clutch use.

I use Motul Semi synth 15W50. Its slightly thinner and will lubricate the moving parts faster and works well in cold weather too.

20W50 would be ideal, if not 20W40 should do. No issues.

I checked Motul website, for 20W-50 only fully synthetic is there and I checked grade for 3000 4T Plus 20W-40 it is JASO MA2 MA and it is mineral that ideal for the bike initially.
So,should I go for the same or is there any Motul 20W-50 mineral oil that i may go for?

If you want a loud exhaust go for the Hot Bodies MGP Growler. Available at PRS.

Thanks. It worked out for me. I think 3000 4T 20W-50 will do.
Also, has anyone been refused at the SVC not to use any other brand oil other than Bajaj else it will void the warranty?
Or you DIY it yourself when changing the OIL?

                            @Aditya : Thanks. I found that
