From what little I know, I think the bike has enough ampere capacity in the stator windings to start with a push start.

And thanks Yasser for the tip - I rode the 'banned for motorcycles' outer ring road expressway on both way in and way out!

By the way - I tested out my Osram 4300K mega white bulbs. What an improvement over stock illumination - same difference as between a 40W yellow bulb and a 40W energy saving florescent bulbs!
Man...I wish I could do that. Have'nt done more than 200 kms in a day till now. I'm glad you got to ride the ORR...you must've taken the bike to its (speed) limits!

Vibhor, probiking has a battery charger thats is very reasonably priced. Speak to Prasanna. It was on display at the hotel where the Ninja Celebration Rally event was held.

I love this exhaust too. I am so tempted to buy this and have restrained myself till now. I love the stock sound too. Only issue is the bike sounds like a dirt bike at high revv's.

P.S. superlife, a member here has it on his ninja. But he hasnt posted here in ages. IIRC it cost him around 30k (or more) for just the can. Full systems are more expensive.

Adi. I think that charger needs 3-5 hrs of quick charging and the power supply to do it..

I was talking if incase if someone gets caught in the deserted place, with the battery not working than what all options we have..

If the battery is completely juiced, then even a push start wont bring the engine to life. Confirmed with Prasanna on this.

Unlikely that your battery will die unless you have the headlight ON and the engine off (kill switch activated) for a good period of time.

If you feel the battery is draining out, go for a quick spin and load the engine to charge the batteries. 8-10kms of running should be more than sufficient to charge the battery.

Is it possible to list the tips for riding on the banned express way ?
Thanks.. the bulbs are the same 12V 55W, but only brighter and white light.

Tips? Just get in and get out without being caught. If you get caught, pretending not to know might help.

Not whitish - pure white light. Not yellow at all.

I earlier used to think such distances were very long. Ever since I started riding the Ninja and wearing high quality foam earplugs, distances have started shrinking big time.

Actually the crosswinds were strong so I could not cross 140-150. But what a wide road - for the first time, the road seemed very big and my Ninja very small.

Ride with me one day - you will be able to do 500+. It is 80% mind and 20% butt

All aftermarket exhausts on the Ninja don't sound half as good as the stock. Stick to stock, and spend that money on an Arai Corsair V or a Shoei X12!

Since it is daylight, I can say how better it is as compared to stock bulbs, but the light is now bright white instead of the stock yellow. This is equivalent of the 'Blue vision' light of the Philips, but slightly brighter (4300 vs 4000k).

Will post an update after I get to ride it tonight.

True !!! The stock can sounds so sweet. I'll use that cash to buy a pair of boots and riding pants so I can make it to the next CSS event.

I'll think about an aftermarket can when i get my hands on a clean inline-four 600.

WOW! you seriously are an inspiration! this is exactly what i plan on doing in march! bangalore here i come! looking at the time taken, its only 5 and half hours either way which is pretty quick! how are the roads from kurnool-bangalore relative to hyderabad-kurnool because hyd-kurnool road is bliss (albeit the scenery is dry)??

what mileage did you get riding constantly above 140kmph?

how much are the osram 4300k white bulbs? i assume you've replaced both the high and low beam, if so i understand the low beam one is replaced with 4300k and what about the high beam? pardon my asking but i dont know much about lights and their power...if you could just elaborate then that would be much appreciated

Thanks - if you thought Hyderabad-Kurnool was bliss, then you then just watched the trailer. The roads get even better after that. Flat out straights, and no traffic.

I get around 21-22 kmpl at high speeds...

I paid around Rs.1200 for two bulbs, and yes I replaced both the high and low beam lights. In the Ninja 250, both the high and low beams are the same specs (12V 55W) and it is just a matter of how the lights are stacked up.
I was short on choice so I picked up Osrams, but I am going to pick up a set of PIAA H7 Extreme White plus soon.

@bluevolt do the osram 4300k bulbs fit into the same socket or we should change the socket of bulb because as far as i know the sockets of ninja are two pinned(donno whether the term is correct or not) and most of the bulbs of cars and other bikes are having three pin sockets.....pardon my ignorance if i am wrong ....
