Just one side. I don't think the fairing set will be under 40k unless you claim insurance

Oh ok..I will be claiming insurance, won't have enough to spend on all the repairs. Apart from that the only other thing I damaged was the clipons. Can you also give me an idea on whether the SCV guys have the spares readily available, or they would have to source it (how much time can I expect the parts to arrive in?)
Just because you haven't seen it doesnt mean its impossible...expect the unexpected.

Too early for BIC, I got my race suit just 2 days after the incident and on 4th of May there is an Open Track Day at BIC. Had an accident on the road with an ambassador taking a sudden right (without indicator). Bike's all messed up. Only plastic that is fine is the right side panels. Rest all will need replacement

It took around 2 weeks for the fairing to arrive for me - in Mumbai. But my Ninja is black - and they may not have stocked it since it is the less popular color.
Btw plastics are covered upto 50% of their value. So you will get the labour costs + half the cost of replaced fairing(s) normally.

2 weeks is the same time given to me by the SVC. Mine is also black in color, so I think it might take that long. Oh I didn't know the labor cost is also covered. I'm expecting my contribution to go upto 20-30K. But lets see. Thanks for all the info. I'll take it to the scv in a few days. Will try to fix a few things on my own if possible.

Guys, Just wanted to confirm if the Fuel level is really low in the Ninja and the bike hiccups for fuel then will the FI Light glow?

Curious to know if there is any relation to the low fuel level or is something else bothering the bike.

AFAIK, the fi light only glows during dfi or ignition malfunction(which might be happening due to low fuel level) . You can figure out what it is by looking up the manual and matching the fi codes with the number of blinks.

The fi light shows up even when there is a minor wiring issue (like an indicator lose contact)..
