I don't know the direct shop. I went to Sai Iyengar tyres on Lalbagh road who took my wheel and got it fixed.

But do bear in mind doing this compromises the structural integrity of the alloy of the wheel. So basically next time you hit a wheel bending pothole, the alloy might crack open instead of just bending.

That being said, I did not have any issues for a whole year before I bent the alloy again. Didn't want to heat treat it for a second time so I replaced it.

Is air leaking ?

If not, then you don't need to do anything.

But when you try to replace the tyre, it may not seal properly and you may have to fix the bend at that time.

Whoa ... You need to change the rim ASAP. This the front wheel, which under high speed braking will put tremendous pressure on the tyre making the contact patch deform and expand. This phenomena puts high stress on the side walls of the tyre, which in turn puts pressure on the lip of the wheel rim and the tyre collar. Any compromise in the structural integrity of this assembly can have fatal consequences.

I also have the same issue with my front tyre rim. Have been riding with it with no issues but I am not sure if something will crop up as I ride very less (9k in 3.5 years). In addition to this I have another issue, the tyres have developed cracks on the side walls although the tread is still fine and considering 9k on the odo not much used but I guess since the tyre age is 3.5 years and I think one day I rode with low air pressure which caused the cracks. Now the bike ride is not very confidence inspiring and it feels like it shift slightly while riding.
Should I get the tyres changed anyway?
Would the rim deformity cause an issue during the change?
Which tyres should I go for?

First thing first, get the rim changed. With a bike as powerful, it doesn't makes any sense to ride with a damaged rim. See previous posts, its clearly stated how dangerous it can be. And also change the tyre since it has developed cracks.

Ride safe and have fun.

Thanks Nadeem for the kind advice. I will go for the change. Can anyone share info on
1. What would be the price for the front alloy?
2. What is the price of Pirelli Sports Demon (front and back) in NCR?
3. Has anyone tried the 140/70 rear tire?
4. Which tire is better suited for touring (himachal, rajasthan etc)?

You are welcome

Go three pages back. The cost of tyres and rim have been shared.
~10k for tyres and ~25k for rim.

Ride safe and have fun.

The alloys are approx 30k apiece now. But can't you claim insurance? TorqueMaster : The current IRCs are absolutely crap in ice (To be fair, no tyre will be awesome). But rest of the Himachal\Rajastan rides can be done - if needed.

Yamalube comes in 20W40 (Mineral) and 15W50 (Semi Synthetic) grades only. What is the recommended grade for your bike? Motul 300V or 7100 is the best bet for Ninja.
