But do bear in mind doing this compromises the structural integrity of the alloy of the wheel. So basically next time you hit a wheel bending pothole, the alloy might crack open instead of just bending.
That being said, I did not have any issues for a whole year before I bent the alloy again. Didn't want to heat treat it for a second time so I replaced it.

... You need to change the rim ASAP. This the front wheel, which under high speed braking will put tremendous pressure on the tyre making the contact patch deform and expand. This phenomena puts high stress on the side walls of the tyre, which in turn puts pressure on the lip of the wheel rim and the tyre collar. Any compromise in the structural integrity of this assembly can have fatal consequences.
