Does the N250 emit a humming sound when you turn the key into on position? Most bikes have some typical sound when the ignition is turned on. How does the N250 sound when the ignition is turned on?

Bikes which are fuel injected emit the humming sound which you are referring to. Its the sound of the fuel pump getting ready to do its job!Bajaj Pulsar 200-2008-2010

Thanks for clarifying this doubt as I am still trying to get accustomed to my recently acquired pre-worshiped N250.Originally posted by patel.tarun4328 View PostBikes which are fuel injected emit the humming sound which you are referring to. Has anyone purchaed MICHELIN Pilot Street Radial tires for the N250 in the recent past from Bangalore? I have inquired with a few tire dealers who informed that there is no stock of these tires for the last 3 months and they are not sure when the new stock will be sent by the company. They also claim that REAR 130/70-17 is not available from Michelin. However, the company website does claim that this tire is available.
Appreciate if anyone can point where I can source these tires in Bangalore with an indicative price for the front and rear tires.

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Same query here too. Most of the people opt for Pirellis and I have ridden on them for a good 25K kilometers. They are one of the best out there in both dry and wet weather conditions. And I think you can easily source them in Bangalore.Originally posted by BlrGuy View PostThanks for clarifying this doubt as I am still trying to get accustomed to my recently acquired pre-worshiped N250.

Re: Kawasaki Ninja 250R
My first choice was Pirelli Sport Demon but they are just not available with the dealers to whom I have spoken to. I therefore decided to check out the Michelins. Change my tyre dealer in Bangalore does not have either PSD or MPS.Originally posted by patel.tarun4328 View PostSame query here too. The ninja spark plug is NGK cr8e, which is the same one used in yamaha r15...
The bajaj guy may sell you those for around 350+/- bucks but get the same from yamaha will cost you 100 or so.RIP Marco

Any reason why Bajaj overcharges it? It's used in Pulsar-220 DTSi too.

I also asked bajaj folks the same question, to which they replied that n250 is a premium bike so a premium price..Originally posted by SparKot View Post^^^^^

bajaj hardly makes any money on selling ninja here, but the premium comes from service and repairs. So the charge.
They say that the replacement of spark plug is recommended at 12k kms but mine lasted over 28k kms. after that i am running on r15 version of ngk, and they are also performing the same.RIP Marco
