    Shouldn't these affect engine performance?

Not unless the extent of wear is high.
      Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.

The mech checked the fuses under the seat and found a burnt one. Changed it and the lights and console came alive. So I'm kicking myself mentally for having overlooked such a basic thing. . But I'm facing a new problem now. The headlamp goes out after a few minutes use. After a few minutes the parking lights come on. I switch it off but when I switch it on even the parking lights go out. And again come on after a few minutes. Confusing!!! Could this be coz of the 55/60W bulb I changed to recently?

Thanks Divya. Will check the battery and change if need be. But is it not much of a load on the battery and the wiring to light up a 55/60w headlight?

                Shouldn't matter!! Running 55/60w since 6 years.

What is wrong with my ZMR, on some days it moves like butter and on other days its make so much noise and vibration that riding it becomes hell.

I ride my friends bikes(fz, bullet, ktm) they make me wanna sell my ZMR.

Here are the problems that i'm facing
                    1) Too much vibrations once rpm crosses 4k
                    2) Changing from 1st gear to 2nd on low speeds is extremely challenging for my foot, almost impossible.
                    3) Forget about trying to put the bike into neutral when its turned on, no matter how hard you try it'll always skip it. But when you don't need the bike in neutral, like while riding, it'll get into neutral instead of 2nd.
                    4) **** the service centre guys, they only know how to ask you to pay the bill. They do absolutely nothing even when you're standing next to them and saying "bhaiya yeh fix kardena problem aa rhe hai", they'll keep on saying yes but will send the bike for washing. When you confront them, they'll say, "neya part dalega".

Guys, what should i do ? Got any tips that i can follow so my beloved zmr can always be smooth as butter.

Almost 2 years and yes even i want to keep my bike, not because i can't afford another one but cause i love my ZMR !
Its actaully 5yrs old('11 model) but i purchased it in '14

The bike has only 25K kms on it, never really took it on long tours. Max i've riden on it in one day is 70km
I mostly use it for communting within the city.

Just loved it riding whole day round.. Now thinking another 2 wheller which will be my main ZMR for lasurely hours...

Vibes from body/fairing or engine? If from fairing, see if there are cracks in the joints. Fiber welding is the only savior. If there are no cracks, use rubber washers along with screws to damp vibes.
If from the engine, make sure that engine mounting bolts are tight. These bolts mount the engine to the frame. Bad engine oil also causes vibes. Use a 20w40 grade engine oil and see if it helps. Clean and lube the drive chain. Ensure it is optimally tightened.

                            2) Changing from 1st gear to 2nd on low speeds is extremely challenging for my foot, almost impossible.

Again, check engine oil and do as I said above. Check clutch lever free play and make sure you have about 5-7 mm play. Clutch plates and pressure plates may need to be checked too.

                            3) Forget about trying to put the bike into neutral when its turned on, no matter how hard you try it'll always skip it. But when you don't need the bike in neutral, like while riding, it'll get into neutral instead of 2nd.

Same as points 1 and 2.

                            4) **** the service centre guys, they only know how to ask you to pay the bill. Start working on your bike yourself or find a reliable mech outside the SVC near your place of stay.

I've recently been experiencing a new problem, the bike doesn't fully stop when the clutch is pressed in.
I've tried it in 1st gear(from rest), bike moves despite the clutch pulled in.
In 2nd gear while in traffic, i applied brakes was going to change into 1st but as soon as i let the brakes go(clutch still pulled in), the bike started moving.

Is this normal ? Everytime this happened, i was fully pulling the clutch and not partially.
