I am not aware (of any) that the performance varies between using them as TT and TL.. AFAIK.. the only difference between them is TT and TL.. Otherwise grip would remain the same as the grips are same and compound is same.. TL helps in touring to an extent that you dont get stranded and its safer when riding at high speeds. If any othrr difference, please do share

Please don't try tubeless tyres from Birla (fire max).I don't understand what type of compound it is .It skids like anything on wet surface.but on dry surface its better than stock.it is 100/90-18.Feeling scary to go fast in rains.

Brother thanks' ke liye thanks, i think for Indian roads Mrf's makes the best tyres, where roads are smooth like moon craters and razor like undulations.

The sprockets , and chain of New ZMA/ZMR are direct fit on old ZMA/ZMR. The only problem likely to be faced is the increased WIDTH of the New Chain due it being "O" ring type. The NEW GB drive shaft length had been extended by 1.5mm to offset this....Only if the New Chain and sprockets are fitted on Old bikes ,we will know for sure about the probability of the Chain hitting the Crankcase..... The NEW chain Link ,Pitch and the Number of links are the same as old chain...

Thank you foe the information. What will be the effects on changing the drive shaft of the old zmr and zma.. any bad after effects?? Is it possible to change the drive shaft along with the sprocket kit? Is it a costly affair?? Am a noob at this

Simply not worth it...because to change the shaft you have to split the crank case ie., open the Engine fully...I think the "O" ring chain may fit in old bikes with a little bit of adjustment . There had been cases of Pulsar "O" ring chain fitted on to ZMA ..though the Pulsar chain is short by 3 links. in such cases old liks were used or two chains bought and one is butchered for the extra links....I feel the present chain and sprockets are just fine and lubing every 800~1000 Kms will keep things in good shape...You have experienced the same in your long trip.

A perfect experience as well sir. I guess the O ring requires extra attention and extra maintenance.. i.e in case of open chain guards.. lets see. I am waiting for the stocks to appear and i will try to see if they can fit it or else stock sprockets it is .. completed 24000 with them already.

Though the chain set is tight.. i hear chain noise.. as if they are getting hit against the chain guard. What could be the reason. Noticed this when riding over potholes and speed breakers.. checked the chain tensioner and it seems normal..

Park bike on main stand, open the chain inspection hole in chain guard, and check how the chain runs when wheel is rotated in forward direction. You will notice that the chain goes up and down as the wheel is rotated ....Check the tightness of chain when the chain goes up max.you should have 20mm up down play..more than this will lead to chain slap sound while going on a bump...

Came back from 800 KM round trip to Kokan, travelogue is still in process, need to ask one quick questions regarding cross winds, it was the major issue in the entire ride, wind side-drag was too much, en number of occasions it almost pushed from one side to another any ideas? am i the only one who is facing this issue or all the ZMR owners? does it because of extra weight of Top-box?

                                How to resolve this issue?
