3. Change brake fluid.

*Brake fluid looses its integrity when exposed.

*The best way to get air out;
Press the lever a couple of times and release, loosen the bleed nut and gently press the lever and when you're at the end close the bleed nut, repeat till the air is out and brake fluid starts to come out. Say I'm half way through the lever and the fluid starts flowing, I immediately close the bleed nut without releasing the lever.

*If you release the lever with the bleed nut open, air will enter the system.

*Dont wait till shit breaks loose, keep a predetermined service interval based on your usage and overhaul the system (Mine was, replace pads and fluid every 10k kms).

Too sleepy to type in proper sentences, but I've tried to note down all the key points, hope its enough.
Bro, I performed the bleeding process last week with kmk bro's help. As for the brake pads, I got them inspected at ASC during last service and they said they were fine. Bike gas run 13K so far. Brakes are definitely tighter as there was a lot of dust in the fluid earlier to the bleeding process. My only concern now is the freeplay.

I am planning to remove the muffler shield as it has too many scratches now. I don't carry pillions anyways. Do you think its a bad idea to ride without that shield?

Divya - Those moto max products are real VHM. Used the 2K compound on mine too a while back and it worked like a charm.

Though I didn't find it on the back of the bottle/container, rubbibg compounds usually do contain mild amounts of abrasives. Hence, people are suggested to swirl the mop in just one direction/circular motion.

This one for sure contains abrasives, if it's tested on a different surface. My friend, for example was using it on his avenger and instead of following the circular motion, kept on rubbing it roughly, the coarse particles were clearly visible and obviously he did not get the desired output. One has to be careful while using one of these because improper use can actually harm your paint job.

Earlier ZMR came with black silencer cover; now with gold. Can someone confirm if both fit the silencer the same way?
