Bro your baby is just 1 month old. You need to let her learn to walk first. Let her grow some bones. You should not cross 50 kmph at least for another month. I know it is a bit tough on the self-control part, but if you want a long-term relationship with this baby, you got to keep your adrenaline under control. Ok??

And about the roughness of the engine, my problem was solved when i used the Motul 20W50 at 5,000 kms. Now my engine is running pretty smooth.

Never faced the false neutral problem though. But i am guessing you are talking about shifting to neutral position from the 2nd or 1st gear. Most people have the same problem, including me. But after a little practice, you will be able to do that easily. Here's what i did, for shifting to neutral, i switched off the engine, went straight down to 1st gear, and shifted up half-a-click. Always did the trick..

And yes, the rear suspension is on the tougher side, by default as Bajaj wanted it to be a sort of sports bike. And the tough suspension seems to assist in better handling of the bike. You will get used to this, but highly uncomfortable for the pillion. If you do have problems, go to the SVC guys, and ask them to loosen the suspension a bit.

no no... pls don't do that..
every suspension have some setting build within the system ( hard settings - to - soft setting). What @mechheart.max suggested was to change ur suspension setting to softer part. that will make the ride smooth, but will affect the jandling of the bike while cornering.. But, since, I guess u r new to biking, so u can go with softer setting. The SVC guys will do that for u.

And, glad that u asked the question first..

                • I have no clue whether it will, but why do you want to do this? Doesn't it work out cheaper to just get HID lights?

                  • Hi guys,

I recently have brought my one and a half years old P135 from my hometown to Bangalore. It has done only 2500 kms. I had done around 2200 kms in the first 3 months after which I moved to Bangalore. Thereafter you can guess how much it was used. I had maintained the bike properly.

Now also the bike is running pretty well except a few glitches.

                    1. I travel a lot these days because of which my lower back has started paining. Has this something to do with the suspension or the super-hard seats?
                    2. I feel vibes in the fifth gear above 4200 rpm. Is this common. Anyway to reduce this? If oil change is an option, I am ready for it... but some people say not to do it before 5000kms.. Is this true?
                    3. Please let me know where in Bangalore can I get a full 'badhiawala' servicing done for my bike.
                    4. Also throw some light on the chain maintenance and the products needed to maintain it.

                        • A small guide as how to ride a new bike

                          Hello,

Today I booked a Pulsar 135LS, this is my first bike. Even though I know to ride bikes which I have done by riding for short distances of my friends and uncles, I am skeptical regarding the use of new bike. Can anyone explain me in detail as how a new bike needs to be rode, what are the things to be taken care of and what are the things to avoid? How to ride more efficiently?

                          This would be very helpful

P135 does have hard seats and since u are riding after a very long time it can be the reason...if u want get the suspension softened at an ASC

                            2. I feel vibes in the fifth gear above 4200 rpm. Is this common. Anyway to reduce this? If oil change is an option, I am ready for it... but some people say not to do it before 5000kms.. Is this true?

Since the bike was sitting idle i think u should chnage the oil asap....there is no restriction where and when to change the oil and the more often u change the better it is...but it doesnt mean u change it every week...and also never delay changing oil more than 3-4k kms/4-6 months depending on ur usage and type of oil used

Is it an oring or a regular chain? if o-ring chain just cleam it with the help of diesel or kerosene and a brush and put an o-ring safe spray lube on it like OKS spray from bajaj. if non o-ring chain..clean same way and use SAE - 90 gear oil.

ride normally and dont over rev the engine and dont lugg the engine(that means never overheat the engine)....try not to shift above 4-4.5k rpm
