  • K&N air filter!?

I want to install a k&n air filter in my 135!

Anyone installed k&n or HP or any other performance air filter in their 135?

Why would you want to install a k&n filter or any other ?
Also, I don't think there wold be any stock size filters for P135.

One suggestion, stay stock and stay tension free. These filters help in improving power figures/acceleration in higher cc bikes. Our daily commuter bikes are not meant for those.

      Ride safe and have fun.

Well, sounds a little wierd, but i only want tht roaring sound!
BTW i discussed about fitting a k&n filter in my 135 earlier too...and most of the people told me its of no use...so i decided nt to do it. But after some months (now), again the idea of fiiting a k&n in my 135 popped into my mind.
As i told above, i only want a better or say roaring sound!

Anyways, apart from the filter thing, any mods or changes for making the bike run smoothly...i was thinking of putting semisynthetic oil. does it make the bike run smooth?
i completed about 6k on the odo.

          Hey,
I have read this in may places and what nadz11.ns is saying is also true. Performance air filter elements like K&N are too much for lower CC commuter type engines. Agree that p135 has an amazing engine that cranks out racing performance from commuterish engine. But at the end of it all it's still a commuter engine. Cylinder and piston can't handle all that air rich fuel mixture. You might end up damaging them in the long term.
All said and done, p135 is a sporty commuter. If you really want performance, you can seriously think of upgrading

Do you want the roar without installing K&N air filter? Remove the emission checking nut in the exhaust.
            I am back!

I just removed the rubber hose under the rider seat, n the bike sounds amazing!
BTW anything on the semisynthetic oil query?

You can switch to Motul 5100 15w50 semi-synthetic oil without any issue. The engine would smoother and vibrations would be lessened.

UPDATE: The oil leak from head cover gasket has ceased. Now, the cylinder head gasket and cylinder block gasket has gone kaput and the leak is very serious. Any idea how much the total labour cost would be ?
And is there any better service center apart from Anna salai Khivaraj in Chennai ?

Where can i get my rear shockabsorber gas filled in Chennai ? I tried contacting Khivaraj, Anna Salai and they have no idea about it.

Better replace the rear shock absorbers.

Wouldn't that be too costly? I need better damping. Thats just about it. And can we replace the oil inside rear shock absorbers?

                                Hi all,

                                himanshu3864

I have some problem with my p135LS. its 6 months old. There is a problem in neutral to first gear sometimes(Especially after long idle time of the bike). There is some big sound/jerk when i shift to first gear this happens every morning and time when i leave office(if the bike is idle for long hours this happens).
I used to neutral the bike when engine stops and sometimes with engine running.
This sound/jerk never comes if the usage of the bike is frequent

Hope you guys understand what i'm trying to say!

Need your help to understand what is happening.

                                Thanks.
