dear pls note that i am not a die hard hater of bajaj .i personally like the pulsar series except 150 & 135 series.Bcoz as per my biking knowlege the egronomy is some what very funny.nor spotier and nor commuter. But on the other hand the 220 & 180 is excellent product.especally good make over on 180.

As i go through a review by bike India.there they are using 0-100-0 test.Where they are using only one gps system which to be used for all the bikes.

But on that case the speedo of P220 shows 111KMPH then the Gps score 100KMPH..the most accurate digital speedo is in ZMR.On that examination they get the Pulsar as maximum difference they ever had by any other bike.so that's why they said that bajaj is always used a over excited .as on that same gps they scored 112.1 is maximum Scored by any P135 but on the same time the the bajaj speedo shows over 125 KMPH. So that's why What u all guys are talking like some child.be mature man.if u say technology then bajaj never been like Kawasaki or KTM.This 135KMPH figure can not be Match .becoz Ninja & Ktm are most advance low cc bike in india. They only scored only !60KMPH & 114KMPH Accordingly. So hope this bikes already have more than 4 valve.

So as per your post even if you account for 11% error, that will still leave close to 120kmph speed on P135, which is amazing for a bike of this price. Just compare it with it's 150cc competition. They give less mileage/costs more and more important is bike's performance at those speeds, it doesn't feel stressed at those high revs, unlike it's 150cc competition (excluding R15).

Usually dealers will have PDI(Pre delivery inspection) checklist. You can follow that, if they don't have one..

Check if all the switch gear is working properly, check for free play of break, clutch levers, oil level, whether speedo is connected or not, check air pressure in tyres and if tyres are MRF or Eurogrip

hmm.. I think that should do, nothing more I could think of!! hope this helps.

                • hey guys!

I'm in love with my Pulsar

done around 900 km so far. feels so good.

today i gave the bike a push, let it run to 60kmph. it went pretty well, but then it had lots of vibrations! is that pretty normal?
                  Why Biking?
Because all other sports need only one BALL!!

well ofcourse you can't keep your hand's on the engine after running it for even 2 kms just relax it is pretty normal, on my bike i can feel the heat at my feet when i am wearing short's so it's pretty normal. if the engine is overheating and shutting down or if you can smell burning oil smell even when riding at 40-60 then you may have a problem...
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Dear you read a lot of review's we know...have you actually ridden all the bikes you have mentioned above? have you used the gps to measure the top speed etc? As for the 135 its makes more sense buying it than the 150cc pulsar. And it beat's the fz,fazer most of the 150 in speed and economy. I'm sure you speedo is highly accurate, plz stop trolling this thread

This happened for me too... i understand what you mean by damn hot..!

                              what i did?

I went to the service center, told him that too much air and very less fuel was going into the engine. i asked him to tune the carburetor. He did it and its wow!

i tear across traffic at 55-60kmph and its uber cool

of course, you cant expect it to be ice cold, but the heat has come down to a very good extent

What you need to do is first get up from your PC and go ride a real bike rather than sitting and doling out theories! Speed and RPM is not a damn equation. It differs on every bike.

And FYI, it's V-Twin and not Tween and also as a fact, the Ninja doesn't have a V-Twin, it has a parallel twin.
