On that note, do we know if the fuel tank is actually 15L? Reason I am asking is the other day when two bars were remaining on fuel gauge and I got her filled up with Speed97 the counter stopped at 15.16L! I was like wtf, it's supposed to be 15L including reserve. So any clarity on that?
I would also love to know if there is any other way to check the actual fuel level in the tank and not via the digi bars.

According to specs the P220 is supposed to have 15 lts capacity tank but as I have found out (and so has many other P220 owners), the actual capacity is definitely more than 15 lts.

a P200's tank was opened for cleaning... a completely empty tank took in 21 liters of water!!! and until it had 3 liters in it the fuel tap was unable to drip any water out!!!
guess the tanks are the same for P220 but possibly with a bit lesser space because of the FI's pump...

Found a good article for chain cleaning. It seems WD40 is not advisable for chain cleaning.
Motorcycle Chain Cleaners Redux
I'll be using diesel to clean and SAE90 oil to lube the chain.

I would not suggest you to use diesel to clean the chain... nor do I think anyone here would._____________________________________________

Question is do you trust your favourite oil supplier's reading at the fuel pump or the specs given by Bajaj more?
Filling up at pumps always shows differentials amounts while tanking up. And the reason is more to do with calibration errors in the fuel pumps metering system and need to make an extra buck!
If you get what I mean!

Diesel for cleaning on the other hand is definitely recommended, or if you have extra moolah to shell out you can always use the Motul Chain clean!

Thats new find for me!

1st,2nd,3rd gears are shorter ratio gears, where as the 4th and 5th are taller. This had been done so one can quickly accelerate around the city and the taller 4th & 5th is so more for cruising and hitting a higher topspeed!
For me 3rd and 4th are absolute fun gears!

Happy
Finally managed 130 on DND last night!!

Feeling was awesome. A swift was taking panga. Taught him that if he is not highway then dont take panga with P220!
This beast can surely pull off. I am so much loving it. But there is one little problem. Its not giving good efficiency. my office is 22kms a side. I usually ride at 70 & of course I do speed quite often on empty stretches. Also doing chota wheelies (not in crowded street
). It consumes fuel of 300+ in the weekdays. I use only Speed. I guess it is because of my riding habit. but its loads of fun to ride my beast

Have you calculated your average from Tanktop to Tanktop?
Even if on highway you can almost always be faster than most medium sized cars!
