Are you guys sure about the colours you are mentioning??

    Coz AFAIK,
    Fully Synth 300V - Green
    Semi-Synth 5100T - Golden
    Mineral 3000T - Red

Do you think the Yamaha FZ16 140 60 tire will be a direct fit to the Pulsar 220 rim as both share the same 17inch size. If possible I would like to change both front and rear tyres of Pulsar to that of Yamaha FZ16 - Please comment. By the way are these tyres available in the market? Don't have information on this

Not sure, but the 140 section might touch the swingarm.
Another thing you need to consider is rim width, the profile of the tyre will form depending on the rim width, and any changes in profile will affect handling adversely.
Regarding availabilty, not sure but I think its still not available in the open market?

Ravikiran sat on my bike a few days back and commented about fairing vibes....they were not there . I had totally forgotten about fairing vibes, it was last set at the 20K service. Its been holding on even now, after 5.5K kms.... and all this even after 10K rpm shifts Atleast PBK got something perfectly right

I guess, mera kharab time chal raha hai, in my accident 6 weeks back I got my front alloy changed as it had a minor bend(not due to the accident)....but footi kismat....I was cruising on bangalore's AWESOME roads, and had to run over a mother of a pothole at 70....result bend in new alloy ...now gotta get a new one

300V is Green & 3000T is Golden. Unable to recollect the colour of 5100T that I saw only once being poured into someone's engine!!! guess that's gold too.

Wurth is pretty good, but since by nature its dense...it attracts a lot more dirt and grime. In that respect SAE 90/OKS scores better. But as a lubricant, the Wurth is pretty good.

Nope, I'm using the same and that comes in green colour too!!!
I got it for 325 rupees and is an awesome oil, doesnt loose its viscosity even hours of ripping, the engine remains smooth even after constant burst @ 120+ speeds. Totally worth for the bikes whichever require a grade of 20W50.

Great! Thanks. I'm contemplating on getting a chain lube for my P-200, which also has a 'O-ring' chain like the P-220, but I was not so sure which one to go for.

I have used Motul chain lubes on earlier occassions but it kind of gets a little too sticky which in-turn attracts a lot of dirt and grime. The OKS seemed to be good, just wanted to check up with fellow xBhpians first.

                        • My bike's decibel killer has fallen off! [i had removed it earlier and the allen nut was broken]. There are no new decibel killers available. They are only available if any bike comes in for crash repair or such!

                          Can anyone help!

                          • Aryan >> OKS 451 is the chain lube you need to be looking at. Its good, i have been using it for 32 k kms now. Have tried Wurth & Motul was not recommened by fellow xBhpian - he said OKS is better.
So, i guess OKS 451 is the one. ~ Rs 350 per can
Make sure its 451 - this is the one which has 'O Ring' specifcations. You get one more OKS spray with bike picture on the can - strangely thats not the one to be used for our bikes.

I was waiting for this guy to bump in here. Aryan, not very sure but I didn't find much difference between the Motul & OKS in terms of dirt sticking to the chain. But then, I have posted my experience here:

Also, I bought a new can of OKS 451 the day before... cost remains the same as it was 3-4 months ago - Rs 325. The shop keeper was informative and gave me the 451 saying it is for O Ring chains while I was searching the photos in my mobile for the number.
