I bought a XL Size the L size was too tight and XL isnt as tight as VEGA but I think it does suffice the purpose.

dunno about 120@9k but i know for a fact that my 220 does less speeds at any given rpm than other 220's.But the bike performs flawlessly in 400mtr drags.

@A_n_i: you should seriously try changing ur 220's fuel filter (if u haven't changed it just now), coz on my last goa ride... the bike refused to go past 100kmph.... got the fuel filter changed at kolhapur... and then the bike started flying .... same happened with my pal...

Yeah, changed my fuel filter also.didnt help!!

If the CO machine is not working then you guys can register a complain about your PBK at the All India Toll Free No.(Somebody please post it or I will search it and post it by tomorrow evening).
CO machine is down since last 2 months.
Reson: there will be a total washout of staffs at kolkata probiking and pbk will move to another place within January which would be adequet for ninjas and katooms.
My co was around 2.2* around 2 months ago and hc was 185 AFAIR !

Anyways, if the engine malfunction light comes on the bike should cut-off. I know this coz for the first 5K kms I had a sensor issue, the bike would cut-off if I went over 120kmph. Anyways, combining on what Chetan & Chilled have said, here's a pic of what I've been wanting to find out.

the red engine malfunction light glows at random (not only at high rpm) in by bike also, but it happens very rarely. i raised this issue at PBK but they couldn't find any source for the problem
my bike also kept running with the malfunction light on

AFAIK there could be two reasons:-

              1. Possibly one or more of your bike's sensors are getting triggered for failure. This can be checked only using the diagnostic tool, where if any one of the sensors are in OFF state then you pinpoint which particular sensor is doing the disco.

              2. Like MG mention, it could be simply a loose connection.

With the diagnostic tool only the mech would only know which sensor has been acting up.

Get it checked again and have a look personally if all the sensors are in ON state.

                    • the mech checked and told me that theres no problem...
and the bike is running normally except for the engine malfunction light glowing randomly (almost once every two weeks) so i'm no more bothered about it (actually, i have no other option)

Ok, but do have a personal look at the sensor when you are next at PBK.

Praful is it one of the 220s characters or is something really wrong??

                              • ^^^ last month wen i went to Awas beach this indicator started flashing as soon as i started from home and was on throughout the trip about 150kms.
i changed the filter after coming home
Also when the guy was changing the filter and u start the bike the indicator keeps flashin even when the filter is missing , and as soon as new one was placed the indicator was off.
                                So its pretty good.
Bottom line : get ur air filter checked, if its clean then check the indicator at SC .
Aprilia RS 125 or Honda CB400 Vtec ..... which one will it be ??? I think its gonna be NINJA ZX 6R :-)
