AFAIK, the CF exhaust is a huge rumor. Anyways can't wait as I needed to start riding again.

Soft compound is good, but need something of a medium compound that the MRF's offer. Anyways, I did not get any tyres within budget and the same sizing.

've u seen ceat n Micheline portfolio....

couple of dayz ago 've went there, n saw a 140/60 "r18" tyre
(don't knw which got rim size of 18')
n i asked about the de sizing (diameter) of the low profile tyre
n the owner told that it depends on the rime size (width)
he explained that if u r going fo the low profile tyre than go fo a bigger one from the factory fitted normal tyre

fo instance our bike 've 120mm, than u 've to upsize it to 140 to kep the diameter in contrast

well itz quite dificult to explain online
but i hope u get some idea about.......

          • Hey, Praful...
I hope you are okay man.. nothing serious with the crash i hope.

You still haven't changed your tyres ??? OMG !!
And i would actually suggest Vyde instead of Sirac unless you are doing offroading every other weekend as i am
But, one thing - i don't think Vyde is medium compound - i had to change it after just 10k kms, i am sure HX had its affect, but not sure how much was it because of HX.
i can see ,my new tyre Sirac is doing very well, just that its height has increased means i don't feel that confident anymore when braking at high speeds. I am now looking to replace the front one.. don't want Zapper, it looks and feels Sirac's kid.. don't know what to go for.

Yes bro, I have a fair idea and even more so thanks to Vinal.

I would'nt change the size by much, ideally for the rear I'd go for either a 120/80, 110/90 or a 130/70.

Btw, the best tyres ever made for the 220/200 is the Bridgestone Battlax. Comes in exact size of the stock tyres, the grip in those is from another world!

I from the otherside of the camp, don't believe any of the speculations that magazines keep dishing out!

Yea I'm fine now, well almost!

Yes, the tyres are still there...din't fall due to the tyre though!

Ab to Vyde hi lena hai!

You skipped it because of the price?

Its 100$ per tyre...ofc I skipped it for the price.

Adding the total cost of importing etc, it will cost you close to 15K for a pair!

If cost is not an issue Bridgestone Battlax BT-45, go for it eyes closed.

Every other tyre brand/size/profile/cost is debatable.

I'm pretty sure that he'll not be able to figure out the problem...

                          Please help me out....

Nope it won't be available off the shelf. You will have to import it. Its best to get in touch with some grey market sbk dealer who imports stuff from abroad for bikes. He can prolly help you with importing the stuff.

What was happening when the bike hit 7K rpm?

How many kms done on your bike? When was it last serviced? Any warning lights coming up in the display?

Could be lotsa things actually, can't really predict from here.

Ask your mech to do the CO tuning, seems to be running super super lean. How much does the bike idle at?

Get the Air-Filter cleaned, btw you're up for 5th service. Get that done, so they can solve this prob and do everything else too.

As a extreme case, it could be that your clutchplates are gone, but @ 9500kms its too early for that too happen, unless you've been doing lotsa one wheel riding!
