    • Just my view

I Love Bajaj. The way they showcase their products through Print & Media Ads... I mean amazing. Every Bajaj Ad is actually about the Bike, about the product.
I can still watch million times the Pulsar Mania ad. Simply love that ad. The making of P Mania Video in Youtube is also awesome!!!

      Lot better than their Rivals

I know this is OT. Sorry. Mods you can delete if you want

      • [quote=prafultripathy;143928]Interesting, I always wanted to try the UNI, did you buy a stock replacement foam and cut it to the exact dimensions? And is the foam dual sided like the stock foam, does it have two type of foam of varying porosity?

Its a stock Foam , from UNI .. i had to cut ta small piece and split it in half ...
from Middle thanks to precision knife ,, but what i have noticed .. splitting of foam is not required..if you look at the air filter box .. there is a iron mesh at the end where the air box is linked to the throttle body ..so just the right dimensions and with the help of the plastic support in the stock filter uni can be fitted very easily ... i have checked the performance .. there is a actual increase in acceleration by 0.88 sec in a zero to 60 run ... cant be very sure as using a gps measuring machine and this kind of minute timings can be a little differ due to gear shifting ....... but have done a few runs to make it accurate .... uni foam manufactures say to use uni oil to make it work best .. but its kind of expensive to get it in india ,, using engine oil basic .. does the work .. i will pic post as soon as get used to the pic uploading method in xbhp

This is precisely the same pic which adorn the left most wall of our showroom, probiking CP.

And to be very frank i really dont like this particular pic, my opinion is that biking element is on the lower side.

I will try to post the pic of poster placed in Newely opened Noida probiking, that is pure amazing.

I did visit CP Probiking once.. (probably) around 3 months back. I was there with a Friend of mine who was booking a P220..

Didn't know that you were there.. or else definitely would have met you.
By the way, if you remember a compact looking guy who did inquire about the Ninja 250R.. that was me

                      Hi guys,
Did my 3rd service yesterday. CO machine is still down, so cudnt check it.
But, i found out that im having a 38T 200's rear sprocket on my bike.
After a lot of arguments with the service head, he checked the front sprocket and its a 14T one. He said usually other 220's have 15 teeth ones in front so its not the reason for my bike topping out at 125 kmph.
I had a few other committments so i didnt have time to check other 220's there. Is this true?? are all of you having a 15T front sprocket??

In the dyno, my 220 is doing 132 when you go very fast and raise the speed in a hurry, cause of the momentum of the dyno i guess. But when i told the service manager to do it slowly like you'd do on the road, its doing around 126 kmph, where other 220's are doing 135+ in the same method.

Im having another problem with the throttle body too. When you are in a gear and let the clutch go, the tacho needle should rise to 2000rpm from idle, right?? From last few days, its not happening in my bike, even when its hot. But they said cleaning the throttle body wont be possible as they will have to set pollution after that.

Yup, Kolkata PBK sux !!! But do reply on the front sprocket issue..

                      • There! Finally this picture is on the net! Now, query. Is the 200 rider's boot photoshopped? I always used to wonder when I looked at the Bajaj delivery van..

ANI not sure where i read this but fitting a 40T ZMA Sprockets is possible on a 220. While I am trying find some more info on the front sprockets.

@all I actually wanted to ask will it really matter if I use a 40T sprocket in the rear ... I hope it wont screw my chain.

no offence meant how heavy are you... and bro are u really crouching after 115Km on the odo...

also this is my personal view and I am not attempting to degrade a product. I hate MOTUL 300V, yes I hate it from all I know. Yes it does give the bike the temporary smoothness but on a long run of about 50KM+ the oil fails to perform like how Castrol 4T ACTIV XTRA does ( havent tried any other oil except these 2 )

Sudipta I have had this experience when I was running on MOTUL 300V bike just wont go above 8.5K RPM mark. Apparently then my service was due so got the oil changed too trust me I can easily go more than 125 in sitting and more after crouching.
