@andy: Welcome to the club!

The stickers on the 200 and 220 somehow really attracts these mischievous elements to peel them off. And to top it off, those stickers are easily removed (takes about 5 mins. max!)...

OK. Went to PBK Okhla. There was a slight noise coming from timing chain. Changed it. Rs 10/- Charged. One important thing. Bajaj is replacing Timing Device for 200 & 220 under warranty period. Right now, 200's available but expect 220's within a week or so.
OT:
Went to Jaipur on 25th & came back same day. Bike performed awesome!!

@RX: Rs.10/- charged on changing timing chain! That's IT!!?? Or is it some sort of typo???

Also, is the replacement of timing-chain of the P-200 compulsory? My P-200 is running fine, hence, I am wondering...

Ok yes typo error

Invoice says " DOMED CAP NUT". Actually within warranty , so timing chain is covered. So Rs 10/- only for some nut.

Get it replaced , coz i dont think its gonna cost you any. PBK guy said its improved version.

"Improved version"? That's strange..That sounds a little strange. But, I think I'll just let it be, if there ain't nothing broken, do not try and fix it!

mann...I need to get my relay, timing device changed...even the petrol pipe showing some cracks...Not getting any time

QUERY:CHAIN WASH
I've put diesel on my chain with the sprinkler so that it spreads evenly all over.
Now whats the next step?? Should I wait till morning or use SAE90grade oil now only

you can apply feviquick on the edges, it 'll prevent easy peeling off
i did this on day one

if i were I wouldnt do that man. Feviquick is a strong very strong adhesive leaves white color marks if not used properly and if by chance you happen to smudge it, it will be even worse, not just that it leaves blur marks on the paint..

@all could someone please post me the pic of timing chain and the new solenoid that is covered under warranty.

I get my Motul engine oil from this Motul distributor, you can check out if he stocks Motul chain sprays, call up and get the item delivered at ur place.

The other day one of my friend was fitting a K&N on his P200 i spoke to the dealer ... he said that fitting the filter will not hamper anything on the bike as the filter is way better than the foam .. he said that only tuning is a concern, i asked him if the ECU program can be emulated on the PC to which he agreed that it can be done but for that someone would need the D&F tool to be fixed on the computer so that the ROM can be dumped on the PC and prolly someone could write a program to emulate the D&F tool.

@ ALL : can any software guru or a computer compotomp do this ? If done it would open a better spectrum of tuning the bike.

I personally feel that the SC guys are quiet sceptical while handling the
D&F tool when attached to the bike.
