    thanks for the reply dude iam facing this problem on d way to my coll it is sagar highway once i went 118km but before 1 week my bike is not going above 115kmp. my friend who owns 220 fi had touched above 130 on this highway my bike aslo touches good top speed but only some times. if it might me tecnical problem what it may be???

    • ^well u seen ur friends speedo actually when he achieved this speed...because for many riders a hypothetical :P top speed 130..they say it by so ease...i got such friends.. well..the pts which SAk bro suggested shud be observed...

        wow thats good.... i don have the roads here to go beyond 135 ... thats some good effort there.....what were the rpms u shifted gears at ?

        .. any motor when started , SHouLd Be LefT to IDle FOr A WHIle ... ok u may tell me it doesnt even idle... start the bike... immediately hold the rpm at just 2k for 10 secs.not more.then let it idle... let the engine warm up for a min.. thats the smart procedure... see i have an Fi ....it sputters when started and revved silly in the morning too..

        try out this procedure..try crouching a little.

        RiDe SAfe ... get practiced to crouching ... and immediately sitting up straight to brake...you'll need to learn... never brake hard when crouched..

            • Yes.Motul Chain Clean & Lube is good.But ,OKS451 chain lube is to be used for O-Ring Chain.

                    That's surely worn out steering cone set. Get it changed but ensure that they do a good job. PBK Okhla changed the cone set of mine 3-4 months back but the "tuck" sound is back

                    May be your Disc pad has come in contact with some solution or something. 220's rear disc are anyways not good

                    If you are having DTSi version then it's normal coz I have seen the new 220's having starting problem during the first startup of the day & I guess it will be bit more during winters. As already suggested by someone, do keep the engine in idling condition for about a minute or more in the morning & specially during winters.




                    Now a small update from me.
                    My bike has done 24K+ kms. My IRC rubbers got absolutely bald within 4000 kms only. So now am back to ZAPPER C (Medium compound which the new 220s have) & front one is the stock.

                    Now one thing I have noticed is that my bike has become bit relaxed & it touches 115 easily as compared to earlier. The IRC rubber was of shorter profile & when it got bald it considerable reduced the bikes top end. So I won't recommend any one IRC but if you want, go for VYDE

                      • A small overview update from me also...
                        He is fi...It has been 6 months we are together. Did 4050kms till date.
                        The one thing i came to know about my PEGASUS is dat more i ride it more i love it.....
                        Only Problem faced so far
                        Throttle body and roll over sensor malfunction...(got replaced under warranty)

                        Running on motul 300v right from 3000kms mark.
                        Still one touch start...(man i love it)no matter how cold climate is...
                        Even once i started bike after 15 days then also it roared at once...
                        1 thing which i love the most about my PEGASUS is that there is not 1 thing to love i love its look its performance its pick up(man as green lights glow .....zoooooom there we go....)
                        Best milaege got >53kmpl(drove very carefully during running in)
                        Worst milaege>32kmpl (when throttle body messed up)
                        Currently getting 42-46kmpl in totally insane riding comprising of daily sudden burst to 105-125kmph....
                        Only thing which i would be changing is tyres specially rear one.
                        Top speed achieved>139kmph(always with protective gears on)
                        Smoked two r15
                        3 karizmas
                        And 1 220 dtsi(rider was inexperianced)(yes yes all drags held under controlled situations on abandoned strips and gears on)
                        Boy o boy iam fanatic of it...
                        Yeah small problems occured but they are nothing as compared to joy,pleasure and that devine feeling that i get after riding no matter if i m riding at 15kmph or 135kmph same joy and pleasure i experiance.
                        Woooof....
