If i was u i would have kept the bike and bought a RE Bullet Classic 500 eFI or an RD350 engine and got it fit onto FZ chasis.

Have you checked the small heat shield in the silencer, that comes loose for most people who ride hard.
I second that. But still the jingling is quite irritating. One heat shield bolt is gone and are out of stock. But the vibes from this are different and comes at around 3k rpm. The one iam talking about comes from the front at over 6k rpm. I suspect a loose mud guard bracket. Also a tick sound upon application of front brake.

U need to have patience. FYI discussion on chain has been carried on long back numerous number of times. U need to go through the thread to find some information. It is quite irritating to keep on posting the same things again and again. U have to understand this.
Your chain is either loose or dirty. Get it cleaned and adjust the slackness. Then it would be fine.

            @ Praful
Iam doing Operation Vibration Removal. My bikes produces some distinct jingling noise from the front at above 6k rpm. It isnt from the fairing as it used to come even when the fairing wasnt there. Any pointers from where it might be coming?
hello rahull.... i had posted lots of pics on the most obvious vibrating parts in the front fairing... and the places where i put double sided tape...
u may check em out if its of any help...

arrey bhai... at times u need to take a deep breath and relax... everyone has their own day... ok a few words would have sounded harsh...

see this is how things become heated up ..

when one member sees another member struggling and frustrated, he is frustrated too.. and they end up saying u to look thru older posts... yes.. looking thru hundreds of pages is difficult..make some time.. if u need the info.. u will get it.. if u dont get any info ask te pro's.. they'l guide.. but if its U or even me , we';l do our home work first ...then approach the pro's here.... ok ? deal ?

i dont think it will ruin the warranty. . . . removing one part of a 220 fi and replacing it with a part of 220 dtsi wont ruin .... i suppose...

plss help me regarding this issue

see our bikes have O rings in our chains.. u agree right ? see these o rings are sinsitive to wear and tear... by themselves... y offer more corrosive wear and tear by using bad cleaners or lubes that arent good to clean safely or lube sufficiently ?? ?? u get my point ??

see for O ring chains to be cleaned , we 220 owners trust the best in the business. or i think so....

using OKS and motul has no problems.... see when u go to the hospital when sick , do u ask them for a drug thats of a cheaper cost ?? no u dont.. right ??

same way here.....we suggest the ppl the best and the most tried and tested ones... use diesel or kerosene to clean, then use a good lube...done.save money on a chain cleaner or spray or whatever ..

lube once every 300 kms.. or 500. depending on road conditions...

or simply run to PBK for a free clean and lube job... make friends with someone there.... mufth mein ho gayega...

On 14th Nov my will be of 2yrs... So i want to share my experience... This Bike was great for me because havent got any trouble till now... i had regular servicing and checkup... i got around 40 to 43 Kmpl... because i did 425kms of 10 litres with 132 top speed (my best) , it was great bike for mileage for me.. Till now no parts were changed, not even rare disc brakes. Once my Silencer got replace because it was broken with my mistake... but those Probiking guys were great ,they complainted the higher authorities as it was broken while running and they replaced the silence free of cost!!... Till now i did riding of 27k on it.. and this bike was a god's gift for me.. as u know many people got many problems of there 220 dtsifi.. but luckly i didnt got any till now..

Now i am planning to change my bike.. what you people think which one i should take??? Pulsar220 DTSI?? is that bike has good milage as DtsFi?? or any other powerfull bike??? Plz no Ninja 250 ( i thought i would be around 1.5 to 1.8 lakhs.. but... i cant afford it as its around 3Lakhs... so suggest some bike friends... powerfull as 220//
                  Thank you!!!
shifting over from a fuel injected bike to a carbureted bike will be the last thing i do... i want Fi
the dtsi may be good, but ur bike's doing fab till now..

y change ur bike at 27 k when u have no problems ???

if i were u i would get myself a good RE 500 with a fi .....check out the RE website...

                  cheers

Coming to the tick sound it isnt from the disc assembly. Even mine has play but it isnt making any sort of noise. I was horrified to see the play. I never had any sort of play in my older bikes. Will check the clip ons soon. I have the handling problem right, so it may be because of that.
