Can you confirm with your contact if they can source the 120/90-17 size Sirac? If yes, how much of an order of 30-40. I think there are plenty of 220's in need of Sirac. Should not be that much of an hassle to get people, right away I can count some 4-5 people I know who are in need of a Sirac!Originally posted by antz.bin View PostWhat if we import a lot of Siracs for our own usage? Not for sales or profits I mean. Is it still illegal ? I guess I have a contact who can do it, but we need a minimum order size of like 30-40 units for it to make sense.
Yea thats the tyre on the 150R IIRC.. And that another option that can be considered.. But some how heart does not agree to go for a MRFOriginally posted by yuv_biKING View PostErr... I was talking about the 100/80-17.. I miss read it has 250R tyre, so its on 150R.

First of all, Which country would we have to import it from? We can take care of the no.s later by advertising aggressively (Now that I have the powerOriginally posted by Praful View PostCan you confirm with your contact if they can source the 120/90-17 size Sirac? Advice is a form of nostalgia.
Dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it's worth.

You can try to get it welded and it should hold for a while! Else replacement is the only solution!_________________________

The exhaust pipe is not broken. Everything is intact. The sound comes from inside. I'm also assuming that replacement is the only solution I'm left with.

By broken, he meant the exhaust has gone bad. It happens with everyone (usually after 2-3 yrs, sometimes earlier). Replacement is the only option. 8K is the price nowadays I guess. You can think about FFE with D killer from Joel by paying a bit more.Originally posted by pranaymeher View PostHi Praful,

The pipe externally is fine. The welds on the internal pipe have mostly broken, they can be *temporarily* fixed with welding!
Joel's FFE does not come under insurance coverOriginally posted by rx100.7050 View PostYou can think about FFE with D killer from Joel by paying a bit more.
So better give it a proper thought!

50-60% of the P220 owners that I know have had this issue, some of them multiple times, replacement is the only sane solution I guess, weld holds on for a while, but the sound will returnOriginally posted by Praful View PostThe pipe externally is fine. Yes that's True. This is the second time facing the same issue. And it will be my second replacement.Originally posted by mansuryayas View Post50-60% of the P220 owners that I know have had this issue, some of them multiple times, replacement is the only sane solution I guess, weld holds on for a while, but the sound will return

And forgive me, the first part was so good, I am literally ROTFL. And as Praful said, it's a wise idea to think before buying Joel's FFE. Personally all the bla bla I am hearing is just useless, yes, because it's a FFE, a literally a *can* with pipe. If you can spend close to 9k, then why don't you get yourself the stock one, which will be your best bet. Go for FFE if you own a DTSI and not a DTSI FIOriginally posted by Praful View PostWelcome

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.
THE END
