Re: Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi
I am out of station right now...i have got this pic only. please zoom and see u will see a red dot. That's a cap to seal the inlet. The one inlet which is alone on one side of filter needs to be sealed.Originally posted by rishie View PostLife Motto: live, love, laugh... but when all goes wrong:ready, aim, FIRE!!...

Can you just clarify from the above image, the one towards the right side needs to be closed, and the ones pointing top need to be connected (right top - inlet, and left top - outlet). Sorry for bothering you out.

Guys relax
First things first, the new fuel pumps for the 220 (Yes! I've changed mine) have these three entry/exit ports much like the duke, but it is not same as the duke. I think I've posted a pic of the new filter in this thread about this when I changed my fuel pump a few months back.
Now, if you are still the older fuel filter and it is no longer stocked by the company. Don't panic, you can instead use as Maruti 800/Omini fuel filter, yes it will look a bit funny, but it does the job. Infact since its a bigger filter, the replacement interval is much longer with the M800 filters. And Yes, I've run my bike on M800 filter for a few months long back when the Bajaj fuel filter went out of stock.

Re: Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi
Thank you Very Much. I have one query...I have R15 V2 tyre on front and Zapper vyde on back. Bikes handle wobbles lightly at speed around 60-70 kmph with gain of speed it disappears. Bike pulls to right on all speeds. cone set seems fine by just externally rotating the handle. changed front suspension oil. what could be the reason?Originally posted by Praful View PostGuys relax

Re: Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi
When was the last time you got your coneset replaced ? Any bends on the front rim ? Are your forks loose ?Originally posted by Dreamwalker987 View PostThank you Very Much. On a side note, how'z the R15 V2 as a front tyre? I've been tempted to try it but its 90/80 profile is too low for my needs._________________________

R15 V2 front tyre is good. Flater design, so more contact patch for braking, which is why went for it. but i haven't really tested them to their limit. I mainly use my bike for commuting purpose only in city limits, so can't say anything about cornering performance.Life Motto: live, love, laugh... but when all goes wrong:ready, aim, FIRE!!...

Re: Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi
Coneset does not last that long on the 220, especially if you live in an area with bad roads and tend to not go slow. For me coneset lasts 15-20K at the most.Originally posted by Dreamwalker987 View PostCone set were replaced long back. Re: Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi
Hi there hope this is the right thread for this question.
One of the motor mount bolts which connects the engine to the frame broke. Could someone supply me with the correct diameter ie M6 or M8 and maybe the correct part number to order the bolt from Bajaj? The bolt is 15cm in length.

Re: Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi
Difficult to get this part. You can use the one from P150/180 which fits but is a little longer.Originally posted by wisecrack View PostHi there hope this is the right thread for this question.

Re: Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi
Anyone got pics of the base of the pilot lamp bulbs and indicator bulbs? I'm planning to go full led on those. Also on the number plate holder bulb.

Re: Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi
I think it's push type bulb. The p180 has push type bulbs.Originally posted by Praful View PostAnyone got pics of the base of the pilot lamp bulbs and indicator bulbs? I'm planning to go full led on those. Also on the number plate holder bulb.

Yep the pilots are push type, but I need a pic to be sure of the exact type.Originally posted by John P Daniel View PostI think it's push type bulb. The p180 has push type bulbs.
