  • Thanx Ravi and Inder.......... Its not that I am desperate to change the brand...... I think I will now stick to the HH 4T plus 10W30....Its so cheap.....Don't even mind changing it in every 1000km......

P.S- Ravi, how was Power 1 racing in ZMA???

In fact, I have been doing the same. I m changing the oil at every 1000-1200 km.

Regarding Power Racing 1, I do not know much about that. But at 700 per liter, I am not looking at it.

Oh! I did not know that there is 3100 4T from Motul. In the recent time, I did not know much about any new products from Motul. I guess it is a semi-synth. Is it?

It has been very good infact..the bike runs smooth, have smooth gear shifting and lasts longer than the HH oil..

And costs less too..its around 220 - 230 rs. per litre..!

                          • Vibration (Run-in Period)

Hey Guys...my Karizma which is 700 Kms old is vibrating quite a lot.

I recently completed the first service and I was told (by the Mech at the workshop) that the vibrations would be there uptil 1700 kms, after which the carb setting would be done and the bike would be a wee bit more smooth.

                            Is that so?

Veteran ZMA riders, kindly provide your valuable inputs..

                            • This intial vibration is not something which is generic with ZMAs, even in running in period the engine is butter smooth.

I can still recollect how i used to cruise at 60 kmph @ 3750 rpm, effortlessly is the word, man i am feeling nostalagic. Damn i miss my ZMA.

You better get it checked and in case you are not satisfied with service guys answers you better esclate it to their seniors.

I was even told by my local mech that the initial vibration is due to the air screw setting.

He said the HH Workshop mechs should set it up to standard setting after the 2nd or 3rd service.

Is there a different kinda setup for the Karizma-R?

as per my knowledge it seems to be the same bike, except the sticker job.
