It wasn't a very direct fit for me, I had to bend the linkage rod a bit.

How's that? I fit a PSD 110 on my bike without any mods whatsoever. If it can fit a ZMR, how come you'd to bend the linkage rod? It wasn't fit correct in your case then!

kariznin who is using the same tire as I have also had to bend the rod. If the tire was not fit correctly I would be having a very unstable ride I guess. Which PSD did you fit ?
        110/90-18 or 110/80-18

Maybe your linkage rod was already bent then! :P . Jokes apart, all the people on the forum advised me to do the same bend for 110. Even my mech. But I believe they can fit the wheel in a way that it doesnt touch the rod. But thats not a recommended thing as it misaligns the wheel. Anyways, I went ahead with 100/90-18 Dunlop and am living happily ever after
P.S. i guess 110/80-18 may help in avoiding any bending, not 110/90-18

check this out. I've been looking out for a direct fit to replace the stock turn indicators with LEDs. i found this link, but the price sounds too steep.

I'm using 110/90-18 for 14k kms now. Apart from me, 3 more people fit the exact same tire on their ZMRs - Prajwal (praj_zm), Satyajit dada (satyajitirc) and Alok (alok_urs).
I'm sure all 4 of us didn't have a bent linkage rod.
As far as ZMA is concerned I'm sure Aneesh bro would help. His friends put 110/90-18 without any bends.

Which means my tires are slightly misaligned, I will check this asap.

Coming back to other stuff, I need advice on how often to lube the chain, the kms I cover daily is 80kms, 6 days a week.

If you are running with closed Chain Guard(OE) then every 800 Kms...in your case every alternate week...use Brown Bearing Grease to lube chain....you will tend to get some splatered all over inside...but never mind since the chain and sprockets will remain in good condition...

So in ZMA/ZMR there is a resistive Plug cap and a resistor in Plug...but the Ignition Cable is NON RESISTANCE type....
So it is obvious that there are two resistor in series with spark in ZMA/ZMR and reduces the energy more than required....It IS ENOUGH TO HAVE ONE RESISTOR IN CIRCUIT, and more than one reduces the spark energy drastically....
Thanx for the info sir . I asked my mech friend whether he knew about this . I got a half hour lecture about it and his experience ...he was gifted a moped named Demm by his uncle in Italy . Being too young to ride , it was left to the mercy of the weather . Then when he was in 6th or 7th standard , he took an interest in automobiles and started repairing the Demm . After @ 6 months the moped was running and the evenings at the doctor's colony where he lived were alive with the sound of the moped . But within a week or two he had to limit his 'savaari (rides )...The ones who watched the Doordarshan channel on TV ( at first it was the only channel and required a tall antenna ) complained that the signal was simply garbled whenever he started the moped !
Next mod - resistor-less spark plug cap .
BTW sir , can't we just remove the resistor from the plug cap ?

Another doubt - I got a ZMA air filter and put it in in place of the ZEN mpfi one I had . I'm not sure whether it's real or due to my curtailed riding habit due to weather , but I feel the ZMA was more rev friendly earlier . Can you comment on it ? Also the exhaust sound is ( or seems to be ) less .

One update on my bike - had starting trouble and had to change the starter relay .
