The stock rear tires are really good if you only intend to do up to 45 km/hour and even at that speed try an emergency breaking and you will get to realize how good they are. When leaning over the tires perform good but those threads ends without touching the center and thus leaves a plain hard as smooth as whistle area for the straight line braking. Back when I had the CBZ legend I remember having a heart attack when an idiot decided to cross the road with his bajaj with suicide intentions and ended up in my flight path. My tire skid through tarmac something like 5 meters before showing any sign of grip. As far as aesthetics are concerned it doesnt look good either its almost like Arnold with a skinny pair of legs.

This is Exaggeration. it's not that bad. I usually ride 80+ on highways and had situations of emergency braking and no problem whatsoever.Originally posted by Shabeer Khan View PostThe stock rear tires are really good if you only intend to do up to 45 km/hour"Biking is Divine"

Re: Karizma/Karizma R
Speaking about MRF's, i remember a friend from the DIY thread mentioning that the bike skids even in main stand with Zappers on.

Re: Karizma/Karizma R
+1 to that. On my Zma-R even I braked at 90+ kmph in muddy water on a flyover, the tyre left grip just a bit( had the Zappers at that time) but zma never actually fishtails. Even if it skids on hard braking, it does so in a straight line. Actually the tendency to use the front disc harder in panic situations should be consciously tried to overcome by zma riders 'cause this throws more of the weight in front and makes the rear lighter(when riding solo) helping the tyre to lose grip more easily. Also, I've avoided the OE brake liner since almost 4 years now as bite is not good enough. Instead I used Activa original liner and presently using one from a company called 'Doshi'. Excellent bite. And oh, my Dunlop Geo Cruiser makes it virtually impossible for the rear to skid!Originally posted by anmol_1990 View PostThis is Exaggeration. it's not that bad. Re: Karizma/Karizma R
First you need to check any after-market electricals you might have installed like horn, hid's, relay circuits, led strips, etc. Thats the first possible culprits. Further your stock electricals. Then it can be the small bulbs like the one inside the tail lamp for the number plate. Detailed inspection needed or else electrical glitches can be very elusive.Originally posted by stephen sundar sundar View PostThank u pix and one more query again my fuse(under the seat) gone third time can anyone suggest me the reason for this

After trying to find the elusive M45 I found a dealer selling Geo Cruisers tubeless for the rear. I decided to go with this based on previous reviews on this thread.
For the front they're recommending a TT in case of pot holes at speed. Either that or a tubeless from TVS that comes stock with the Honda Shine. Confused which to choose.
One last thing the dealer only has Dunlop Rib for the front TT and says Mystery isn't a great tyre. Is that true?

ZMA stock tyres are pretty good... fishtail or skid doesnot depend only on tyre quality.. weight of bike and tyre air pressure are some important factors.... use tyre pressure in front 25 and rear 33 psi as mentioned on top of the tank of ZMA.... though you will find in the pumps that majority will use 26F and 36R... a little less air pressure will keep the rubber stick to the ground because the friction area will be more on 25f/33R than 26f/36R... you might need to change the tyres 4/5K km earliar than others.. but it is safe...RG

Re: Karizma/Karizma R
Rajarshi, have you done rain ride with rear stock tyre? As you said, I could agree on few points however the stock tyre centre portion of is bald, so there's ain't water channeling and most likely to fishtail while breaking eventually. No theory but pure practical experience. Personally won't recommend stock for overall usage.

Wind tone horns go short after some time and causes fuse to blow , and may even cause wiring harness damage...so avoid it...Originally posted by stephen sundar sundar View PostI had put only windtone horn two years back.

The stock tires skid under heavy braking even on dry surface.....on wet surface, well you learn to ice skate on ZMA.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View Post@Rajarshi, have you done rain ride with rear stock tyre? Its clearly evident that Hero has their game face on. The above is a pic of the new outlet started at Kundara, Kollam. Specifically for selling spares. That makes 2 Hero spare out lets in a 25km radius.

Re: Karizma/Karizma R
The stock tyres on ZMA are good as long as you just ride the bike sane, even in city or cruising on highway. When you try to explore the handling abilities of the bike and push it, then stock tyres are not good enough.
The Michelin M45 rear tyre is the best for the Karizma. It has lots of grip; unfortunately, its discontinued now.
