            Finally here are the voltages.

1- at 'key off' position 13.29V
            2- at idle 14.91V
            3- at @ 3000 rpm 14.83V
4- at idle with headlight on 13.14V
            5- at @ 3000rpm with headlight on 14.14V

It's an Amaron 12V 9LB battery installed on March 1st 2013. Looking at PSR Sir's advice, I believe the battery can be ruled out. By the way what is the LB mentioned here?

Go for Shell Advance Ultra 10w40, excellent and suitable grade for Karizma. Its also cheaper at 800 INR compared to other famous brands.

Yes, you can, it is pretty much plug and play. Get a H4 bulb. You could improve things by adding a relay for the bulb.

Absolutely yes! Works like a charm without a relay as well. Any HS1/H4 bulb can fit in. A relay would improve the intensity, but *may* burn the reflector. I have been using a 55w Osram Night Breaker on my ZMR for 20 months without a relay minus any issues so far.

BTW, why create a thread for this? You could have asked in the respective ownership thread itself.
@B7ACKTHORN, sirjee, merge this with the ZMA ownership thread please.

Yesterday while returning home from college I started to hear a squeaking sound. It would appear only at certain rpms(low) while riding. When reached home looked down(since the sound was somewhere near the engine) and I could hear the noise increasing with revs. I started to freak out assuming something was wrong with the engine! But I suspected it has to be something else and I would never expect anything to go wrong with the engine. I have had such experiences earlier and usually found that the sound was from my key chain! But not this time. On closer inspection I found that the bracket holding the engine cowl had cut off on the right side. It looks like a fatigue crack to me. Has anyone faced this issue earlier?

It might be possible due to vibrations etc as the metal framework for the cowl isn't very good quality. Just get it welded and you should be good to go.
