Yeah it started working when we changed the worm. I told my mechanic about many "reforms" on the stiff fork. But had to change since I used to get shoulder pain in long rides and was really irritating. Looked lovely though.

Hi All,

Whats the best fork oil to use in the ZMA? Thanks
Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle!

I think the veedol one is good. Not sure of the grade. Regular mechanic should be accessible to those.

I opt for Castrol. But you also have other choices like Veedol, Motul, etc

Thanks for replying so quickly. The manual suggests 144 +- 2.5 cc/ml but does not indicate the type or specs of the oil. pixantz any idea on the specs of the oil you used?

I have some Motul 20W fork oil lying with me. Is this the correct spec oil. Thanks.

I figured out the problem. It's was stupid, the battery was dead. My bike sparked to life as soon as I replaced the battery.

I m planning to switch all the bulbs to to led. Any suggestion on this

20W sounds good. AFAIK, you get bottles specially for bikes with the quantity needed for each shock if totally disassembled. If you're just replacing oil seals then a particular measure has to be added to each shock. Your mechanic should know that. And if you're doing it at svc then you shouldn't be worried about the quantity part. They'll do the needful...

Black is more common and common colours are cheaper. Side panels should be around 1150/- apiece, fairing 1200-1400 each right and left, centre piece around 450/-, visor is 350 approx, rear center piece arond 400-450/-. For rare colours like my old candy red or silver kind of colour the slimy retailers charge you about 1650/- for the 1150/- piece. That too if available. Back here in Mumbai we get superb paint finish look alikes which cost nearby of 600/- per piece and last extremely well. Only trained eyes wohld be able to tell the difference.

I'm using Motul Fork Oil on my bikes. So far there are no issues. I'm satisfied with Motul fork oil and the fork cushion on my RXZ is good.

I've not been active on this forum, please excuse me for that. Lately, I've observed that during cold start, I observe white smoke being emitted from the silencer. My Zma (2010) has done 52k Kms so far. Anything I should worry about? There's no drop in performance or mileage. Just this thing is intriguing.

Looking for replies/suggestions.
