Refitted my Iridiums and re-tuned AFR to 4turns.
Completed 80Kms now 420more kms to go.... And when should I schedule my next oil change???? Im thinking 500.Motorcycling Experience:

I am from raipur . The bike is repaired now the charge was 14135 out of which 11838 was paid by insurance company chassis was changed will search the bill and will post a scanned copy.Originally posted by curse View Post

crash guard for ZMAR
Hi all-
I've ( and Vineeth too ) been trying to get a crash guard for ZMAR for some time now . But it seems the guard of the Stunner which comes now is the one with the raised edges .
Not interested in that one .
The narrower one doesn't seems to be in stock . But have a query for the guys who've fit those -
does it touch the front mudguard at any time ?
Another one I've seen is the one with a bent in the middle - that I like .
Which guard is that ? How good is that ? I think it's on the ZMAR with SUNNY written on the fairing . Don't remember who posted it . Someone recognize it ?
BTW , rode Vineeth's Joeled ZMAR for a couple of kms last day . No chance to wring the throttle - was riding in city and was caught
behind a couple of bus and other vehicles .
He had the DB killer connected still seemed too loud ( when riding it ) compared to stock , but while riding behind him it seems OK . It has far better go than my ride .sigpicComment

Tappet noise
I own a karizma r 2011 jul...my bike is facing tappet noise problem when its get hot after 8-10kms. I had done my 1st service at 587kms n 1st oil change at 300kms...now my bike has clocked 2315 kms n is due for 2nd service... I m using hh oil 10w 30...my engine also gets hot soon n even the tank get warm..pls suggest agud oil grade for me ..my daily commute is around 30kms...waiting for u r valuable suggestions....

The 10W30 oil looses it's ability to lube by 400 to 500 Kms of use....so you should go for a quality JASO MA2 certified 20W40 mineral oil.Originally posted by siddhesh View Post

my bike is still in warranty n changing my oil to 20w 40 will void my warranty...rite???n during the service should i recommend him not to change the oil n change it from outside as hh recomends 10w30.?

Today was roaming around the city till afternoon and visited 3 beaches. Got some super low traffic roads to check the top speed with pillion, Tried some four times with pillion and top speed was 120kmph not much of a climb after 120kmph. Me weighing some 62 kgs and my pillion was 72 kgs. My question is that is this normal performance of the ZMA-R ? or is my bike bike under performing? My bike is completely stock (apart from 55/60 HL). I am not trying to achieve greater top speeds but just want to make sure that my ride is not having any glitches and is remaining perfect.
