The reason am waiting till decembers cause I dont trust these guys and you dont know what they'll do to you'r ride. And in december our vacations also start thus I'll have enough and more time to monitor my ride...

Its a bit hard to judge the sound of new engine because its just opening up and will sound a bit different.

Which city are you from? update the location. Also, you have run very low for 5 months. So I would suggest you to take it different SVC and ask them to diagnose.

Taking the bike to a different SVC's a big NO NO.... Cause I've seen the way they treat the customers once they switch SVC's. They wont even provide warranty.

I completely disagree with your statement here and stop misleading people on warranty.

FYI.. Manufacturer Warranty is valid throughout India with the time specified in the Ownership Manual. It doesn't say that you'll need to get your bike serviced/claim warranty related only through the specific showroom in specific city.

Infact, it is advisable to go to a different authorized SVC to find out if the issue is the same as stated earlier. Also, it doesn't avoid warranty when you happen to service from another SVC unless authorized nor I read in Owner's manual. By any change have you signed any contract with SVC that you'll get it serviced only from them just to keep up with warranty? If you had happen face some situation like you mentioned above, that's purely incidental and not the norm. Offcourse, if there any mention in the rule books of Hero Honda, kindly educate me.

Sir, I know that technically we have the right to avail warranty or any other service's from any authorized HH SVC throught India. But theres also another thing called regional politics, I dont know about you'r place, but here they play politics like hell. I hope you remember a post I posted a few months back about a Hunk owner who was denied warranty for replacing a starter motor or something cause he switched SVC's. The reason the SVC manager said, was that they dont have the service records of that particular bike and so they wont lay a finger on it(I thought they were keeping online digital records.).

Now sir, you may recommend shooting out a mail to HH. But then once again I remind you of Yasher bhai's fate.

I have bought my bike from another city far from where i live, and had done all the servicing at a svc near my house,no problems at all, not even with warranty.
They dont even bother to check where from you have bought the bike.
Yes all records are stored in an online portal and can be accessed by anyone having passwords.
I dont know who Ysaheer bhai is,would like to hear the case
PS:found a puddle of oil under my bike today morning, found out leak from drain bolt, man real lazy buggers if they can change the whole engine why cant they check and change a small drain bolt, got it replaced for free morning itself, first customer. And I am tired of visiting svc.

I don't know where Selvin Rebz from. Please don't quote regional politics here, people might not know the difference between what their rights are and what regional politics are about. Every bike owner has his right to visit showroom and question if they are not satisfied.

Also, you have quoted instances and not facts/norm so I would not buy it. If you say there is a regional politics at your place may be the matter should be escalated with the Regional Service Manager.

@ALL: Please don't hesitate to question service center if you are not satisfied with their job. They always wanted to us to look like puppets to get away their work. ASK questions! Escalate if the issue still persist.

Higher ups(Regional Office sales/service) will be glad to help only if they were let known. Don't hesitate to give them a call to address your problem.
Unless we give try, nothing comes in a platter.

Infact he owned a ZMR and not ZMA. Don't generalize what Yasher went through. You mean to say it did not work? Also, how seriously they want to project it to HH. I'll give good number of instances where people have benefited by escalating issues.

I know sir, was just bringing up an instance. Just for safety's sake. And yeah I know about the guy who restarted the production of Ambition/Achiever after filing a legal suite.
