Heard the clip bro, No doubt its the cylinder kit.
Its common for people to confuse this with the tensioner/tappet noise.

Cylinderkit issue - Chil Chil when engines hot, its cause of misalignment.

Tappet - Kachak Kachak when engines cold and sound decreases when engines hot.

Tensioner - Tic Tic and increases when engines hot.

Since your bike is in warranty, HH SVC is bound to maintain the bike to the satisfaction of the buyer.ie., you..Stick to getting the service/Repair done with the SVC,if you step out and seek solution with outside Mech., your warranty will become null and void and you have to foot the bill for every fault. If you have unsatisfactory service, send an e-mail to the Regional Manager of your Sector, and hint at going to Consumer court for " DEFICIENCY OF SERVICE "...
If still things don't get done change your SVC ....
Whatever suggestions we give towards repair is of no use since it is to be done by the SVC under warranty...Make their life Miserable with continuous follow up and writing letters and sending e-mails, specific to the problem...basically build up a case for future safety....

          • Karizma Oil Filter and see the oil with metal particles of new karizma ran only 56kms. Got it from Net.

            Comment

            • Woo! that's a whole lot of metal! I guess some of the smaller particles may still remain in the oil ? In that case, as some one suggested earlier, changing oil after first 100kms does make sense. I will make sure i buy a bottle of HH oil when i take delivery of my bike.

Btw, Aneesh/PSR/Others, is cleaning oil filter after first 100kms recommended too ?

Since my legs not yet recovered from yesterdays impact I decided to give my bike to SVC, now bike's with bikerharis he'll hand it over to SVC tomorow morning . SVC Manager said it'll be ready by tuesday morning. I asked him to put new oil and change the packing kit due to leaks in the head. Hope he does so.

Bro get well soon. Why oil leaks at this early stage? . Well one more query why did you purchase the tappet o rings and fevibond? Will the rings get damaged in the process? .

Yes,Do the first oil change at 150kms. These metal particles will be removed from the filter during the first oil change and is called cleaning the oil filter.

There is no packing kit in the head,They uses Liquid Gasket in the head.

There is a chance of O-Rings damaging while unscrewing the tappet bolt,So i suggested him to get a pair of new O-Rings for safety.

Oil leaks are bound to happen. Its just that we dont notice it. Mine's really minor. You'd have to rip the bike for hours just to see a minor stain which can be wiped off with a bud.

O'Rings are just a preventive measure. But its usefull cause the stock O'Rings already present are most probably busted/burned.

Fevibond acts as a minor liquid gasket for filling O'Ring gaps and all.

The first change of oil is at 250 to 300 Kms second at 750 to 850 and the third at 1,500 Kms...This will ensure that most of the metal particles are taken out periodically and in time...

Sad to see you getting into physical injury..the leg joint will take time to heal and you have to be careful not to strain it for at least another 30 days.....Hope you don't become animated and do acrobatics in future .

oil leaks don't happen unless there are gaps in fittings to leak it. " O " rings are there to stop it and on every use gets damaged..so it is mandatory to replace it,every time you open and close a mating surface with " O " ring.
Three bond liquid gasket is good and can withstand high temperatures of the engine.

Now am able to move my leg to and fro but the pain kicks in when I try to move them sideways. My dad says it might be a minor ligament tear. Anyways sir, now I've officially switched to uncle mode.

Sir, Am not sure whether its a genuine leak. There was no point in me taking pic's cause it's not visible like that. The only sign I have is that once in a while when I inspect my bike there's a greasy residue near the head part, its kinda dried out, maybe due to dust accumulation. Anyways just for the sake of not taking any chances I asked them to check it out.

                          • Got the Disc Brake Pads of my bike changed to Apache RTR's Brake pads, after 60,000 Kms,
                            RTR disc dia. 270mm / 376 INR, Zma disc dia. 276mm / 1115 INR

                            they work just fine.

when the mechanic opened the brake fluid case, there was nothing, except for a lot of grease like thing, which even the mech. was surprised to see,
any-how, cleaned it all up, and put in new fluid,
bleeded the brake a few times, and it was ready to go.!

although it lacked the "bite" in the beginning,
after around 50-70Kms, it feels fine.!

Thought of sharing the info, incase some1 (like me :P ) is not willing to shell off a lil over 1 grand for the brake pads..!
