Thanks sir , But the strange thing is that every time I search for myself, I make things more complicated.
Now am confused of what exactly caused the bike to not start.

    1. AFR Rich causing CARB flood.
    -OR-
    2. AFR Rich causing the removal of oil in the head.

One similar DIY exists in the DIY section, may be because of that,PSR sir ignored it.

Alternatively, the force of the thumb is sufficient enough to push the pistons back. just open the master cylinder and carefully press the piston. i've tried it many times and it works every time
Only if the pistons are free from jamming with dust ,can this be done..obviously your maintenance is good and so you are able to do it...

Most of my posts are thread and user specific and ,with this particular thread being eager , I thought I might let few enthusiastic members start learning and doing more D I Y, with this info.
I had done a similar strip down with pictures of the ZMA-R Console some time back ,to help and clarify a specific member's query.

        • Today's DIY.

Repainted my bike's grabrail with Aerosol Spray Paints. Here are some clicks.

          Aerosol can,120rs per can.

Smoothened it with sand paper first.

Then painted it. Had some errors as it was first time.

            • Today took bike to college to check whether any problem still persists. Did 50 km in total through both city and highway conditions.

The main thing to mention was the peppiness of the engine . The bike is responsive than it was previously after the tappet adjustment. Now did a wash myself and cleaned and lubed all moving parts properly satisfied now.

@Aswin: Couldn't check the ride as you said sorry bro .
@Aneesh: Good work bro looks neat.

And could you guys get me the part circled in the below pic ? My SVC doesn't have it. Please check if its available at diya. Its urgent.

And today morning when i checked the bike there was an oil leak from the left crank case . At the place where we use the allen key and open to move the piston to TDC took to SVC and they rectified it . Said that O ring wasn't properly set.

@PSR Thanks. Noticed more oil in the same area, so will take it to the service center this weekend.
More information as requested. Bought the bike in Nov2010, have completed 17000+ kms on the odometer, mostly used HH 10w30 oil otherwise motul 20w40 3000 4t plus. Oil changed at regular intervals as suggested in the service book.

Another strange incident happened yesterday. I had completed about 700 kms since morning and was still riding when the bike stalled. When i tried to start the bike again, it made some clank, clank sound but refused to start. I waited for about 30 seconds and tried again. The bike started normally and have not faced any issues since. Any idea what could that be.
You start the game with a full pot o' luck and an empty pot o' experience... The object is to fill the pot of experience before you empty the pot of luck.

Since you'r bike's pre 2011 am not sure what the reason is, maybe the engine overheated or something. But in my 2011 ZMA, a few secs after we cross the 125Kmph mark the bike dies and makes the so called sound when the starters pressed, and will have to wait a few sec's for the bike to come back to life again.

And does anyone seem to think that the below bike resembles ZMA in a strange way.

                  • ^ Honda copied our ZMA on CBR150R for sure!

@All:- Offlate, I see many use this ownership thread to throw their thoughts too far from ZMA. Often being abused. So request you to maintain the sanity to display professionalism. Just my thoughts!

It went loose and lost it . Now the exhaust just holds on that another bolt only if that too comes off . I as well as the public will become deaf .

I'm sure you can get a bolt of similar dia and thread in your city . There'll be shops which cater to nuts , bolts etc.- not necessarily automotive . When I removed my engine cowl and fit the crash guard , I needed longer engine mount bolts and I got one from one such shop (made by TVS ) . If you can remove the other bolt and take it to such a shop I'm sure you'll get a similar one . The length doesn't matter - you can cut it . Just make sure the thread is the same .
